“Rudest woman we've met yet.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

Upon arrival we were ignored by both members of staff despite trying to get their attention. After several minutes waiting we were finally addressed by the rudest woman who appeared to be the owner. She showed us to our rooms which although small, were clean and everything you needed. Then later we told her our booking was wrong as we only booked two nights and she started shouting at us saying we were wrong and making us feel extremely uncomfortable. She was just rude and foul to us and we felt uncomfortable staying there. Also, the room keys are all left on the side of the desk foe anyone to pick up, they gave us the wrong room key at one point and will shout and semi chase you out of the hotel for the room key. On the final day i have to say the woman was extremely nice, we are unsure why but on the final day after check out she made us feel welcome.

I personally wouldn't recommend this hotel. There are loads around in Nha Trang, id advise staying in one of those instead.

Safe, clean and very helpful staff & manager!!
The hotel is located near the beach, some shops and restaurants. It is well managed by a couple. They provide useful advice, motorbike for rent at a cheap price ( VND 60,000/ day) and cheap tour.
You really should go to Lac Canh Restaurant ( quite crowded but good food at cheap price) and Paramouth Cafe also.
Buy a Vinpearland ticket at the hotel is cheaper comparing with buying directly at the gate ( VND 490,000)

Very friendly but very basic little hotel. It is tucked away of one of the main streets, so close to everywhere (beach, shops, bars) yet nice and quiet, with the potential to get a good nights sleep! This hotel offers very few services and amenities, but would be perfect of young travellers or older couples who want to spend their time out exploring the City.

It was quite late in the evening by the time we got to forget me not so we were shown to our room by the security guard. We were on the top floor and it was boiling!! We weren't shown how to use the air con and there didn't seem to be a remote for it so we guessed it was broken. The next day we came back from a day of sightseeing to find the room smelling of burning plastic. One of the plugs was sparking and had burnt the socket. We obviously turned it off and warned the owners who thankfully swapped our room. The new room seemed nice, however at night the bright light that names their guesthouse on the outside shines through the window making it seem like its day time throughout the night making it difficult to get to sleep! Overall we probably lost some weight climbing up the stairs everyday and managed to not die in the dangerous electrical room which was a bonus.

Pro: friendly staff, central location, streetfood court on the square, sleepee bus drop off location at 5 minutes, good value
Con: checkin at 12 when bus arrives at 5, then bags are not really safe, wifi not working on top floor.

After a 12hr journey from Saigon we arrived at the hostel around 9pm tired and aching to be greeted with a blatant lie about the air con machine in our room had broken so we had to go to a different hostel for the night (which we were about to realise was a lot better & cheaper than what we had booked).

They had obviously over booked as when we arrived back in the morning the bathroom was soaking and the fridge which was supposed to be full of water and soft drinks had empty bottles and a bag of rotten grapes from the previous customers. Oh and the air con still doesn't get cold at all.

The bed was like sleeping on a piece of ply wood, so hard! We decided to check out the next morning which was going smooth until we were asked to pay half the price of the day which we kindly refused and after 20minutes of arguing we finally got our passports back and was on our way.

I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone and if they continue with this customer service then they will be out of business very soon.

Room Tip: Go ANYWHERE else, seriously.

Good value for money, we stayed in both a smaller room and a balcony room both were ok. balcony rooms are bigger and bathroom a little nicer. Hotel was clean, wifi and tv both work well. But could do with some fresh paint as walls are a little dirty. Less than 5 min walk to the beach and close to good restaurants. Would stay again.
