“Great Hotel...but wait untill construction next door is complete!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

We stayed here 4 nights in July 2012, 22-25. We actually we moved out to another hotel for remainder of our stay in Nha Trang.
It is a very nice new hotel, room well appointed and don't have a bad thing to say except:
The adjoining building is a new hotel under construction. Every morning between 7-8am the noise started. Hammer-drill in concrete and other construction noises amplify and sound like it sin the room.
There we some very pissed off customers, not just us.

Its a great hotel, but only stay here once construction next door is complete !!

Hotel room is small but very clean and tidy.Bath room was nice with rainy shower and full of nesessary amenities. Although the noise from construction next door is still exist but not quite hard as it seems to finish the noisiest part.

One "hard to swallow" point we faced with is that upon walked in, we were informed by the receptionist that there's no room available after she was asking how many night we are going to stay. However, when I went to Agoda then there's room available indeed. So we booked 2 nights right away via Agoda and cameback with new room confirmation just 10 minutes after we were informed that there's no room available (?!?)

Please also take note that this lovely hotel is always fully booked so it will be hard for you to request for late check out even with half night room charge (unfortunately most of bus companies only schedule departure time in early morning or late at night).

In conclude, forget about problem upon arrival, we generally enjoy the stay and inpresses with hotel like new condition (its opened for 1.5 years). The noise is still there but not a big deal with us.

I stayed overnight at the Green Peace from July 1 through the 7th.
The hotel staff was really sweet, and helpful. I was put in a balcony room, with a huge king bed which for me was excellent. The rooms were large enough, (at least mine was) and there was everything that was needed in terms of amenities. The shower was really nice, and I enjoyed it twice a day, and really liked the fixtures.
There is wireless internet in the rooms as part of your room rate, and a breakfast.
I never had time to eat it, because I was out diving all week, but overall I rate this hotel highly.
The desk had a girl named Anh, who I think may have something to do with the ownership of the hotel, because she was an EXCELLENT English speaker, and extremely helpful.
Another girl, Ngon, was not as good of an English speaker, but still tries very hard to help.
I would rate this an excellent value for the money. Would definitely stay again, if the pricing
doesn't go way up after the construction next to the building stops.
For the money, the place was awesome.

Room Tip: Get at least a superior room, they are larger, and have a bigger bed and a balcony.

stayed at the Green Peace hotel for 5 nights and have mixed feelings about the place. First impressions were not good, the receptionist (not Anh) could not have been more unfriendly and off-hand if she tried, her first words to us was a demand for $20 there and then to pay for the airport pick up we had arranged with the hotel which every other hotel adds to your bill.. We booked a superior room with bacony which was not what we were allocated on arrival, when we complained we were shown a room with balcony which we could just about fit on provided we stood. The info on our booking print out was also not accurate regarding no complimentary water and the room size was not as big as expected. In addition, be aware there is extensive building works going on in the buildings next to and behind the hotel and you will experience noise from 7am , After getting no joy from the receptionist in response to our complaint we asked to speak to the manager, he was quite nice and so keen not to lose us he offered a discount if we stayed. The hotel is quite modern and rooms are contemporary in style which we quite liked. The breakfast was ok, banana blender was lovely, but when asked if we could have toast with our omelettes we were told "one person-one breakfast" and would have to pay more. In contrast, the other receptionist called Anh was so friendly and helpful it left us feeling if only she had been on duty when we arrived we may have had a totally different experience and impression of the hotel

Room Tip: rooms on front of hotel have bigger windows

stayed for 2 nights at the hotel and we arrived really early the morning of check in and we were allowed to check in at 10am which was amazing after a sleeper bus trip from Ho Chi Minh. The room (superior) was small and the first day there was some kind of construction going on right next to the hotel which was so loud. But we didnt hear anything the next few days and the hotel was really nice and i would definitely recommend it and stay there again!

Great, new, well priced, clean hotel in a good location. Shame there is currently deafening building work in the adjoining building that starts at the crack of dawn! Not worth the 30% off they are offering when you arrive. We moved within hours.
Would definately stay here once the building has stopped.

There are construction works going on in the building next to the hotel. They start at 7am , feel like an continuous earthquake and will therefore definitely wake you up. Don't go to this hotel as long as the construction works are going on.
