“Modest little place in a good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

The rooms here are small but clean and nicely furnished with a comfortable bed. We even had a sea view from the slit of a window! The staff are really nice here, but the breakfast isn't great. Omlette station though which is always good :)

We only stayed here for a night, but it was exactly what we wanted. Close to the beach and the places we wanted to visit, but not as expensive as the plush hotels on the beach front. Would recommend it if your wanting a bit of luxury whilst backpacking,

Not sure why anyone would like Nha Trang but if you must go then you might find a better hotel than this although it wasn't terrible. It didn't have any character but rooms are clean, staff helpful and a decent breakfast.

From the small windows we looked out over a construction site (most of the beach front seems to be a construction site) and the huge Novotel hotel. Construction went on until about midnight so you'll have trouble sleeping before then.

The pool looks nice in photos but in reality it's very dirty and we didn't go in (didn't look like anyone else did either). The hotel is also down a small dirty alley.

Not a bad hotel but I would try find somewhere else with more character or pay more for a better hotel ...or take my advice and don't go to Nha Trang.

We stayed for 4 nights in October 2012. The hotel is just one block back from the main beachside strip and right behind the Novotel. And I do mean right behind, the Novotel rears up in front, blocking off what once would have been a great view.
It's done a tight little laneway with pretty limited access, our bus from Dalat included a taxi transfer from the Nha Trang bus terminal to the hotel, they wouldn't drive down the laneway leaving us the end of the street in the rain with our suitcases.
The check in was smooth and we went straight up to the room and were very pleasantly surprised, a big bathroom and a nice little balcony made all the difference.
Breakfast is pretty standard hotel stuff, some cold cuts, cereal, awful sliced white bread, an ok Pho on demand but not much else.
I wouldn't book this hotel if you cannot get one of the sea view rooms, it's only good for that, if you don't want to pay for the view best to stay a few more blocks back and pay less.
The hotel is very popular with guests who like Vodka and borsch and are called Svetlana or Boris, if you don't like to be elbowed out of the way and have cigarette smoke wafting into your room choose another place.
The hotel also has a travel desk service that says they have bicycles, they don't, and they also arranged a "fixed price" transfer to the airport for us that was meant to be 250,000VND but the taxi driver made us pay 650,000VND when we got to the airport which we weren't happy about. Probably not the hotel's fault but still annoying.

Room Tip: Don't bother if you can't get one of the front sea view rooms.

This property is probably the most shocking in terms of what is featured over the internet and what is experienced when checking in.
The Hotel entrance is a very narrow pathway for local residents.
The swimming pool is literally the same size of a bathroom.
The bathroom is actually part of the bedroom and the shower area is combined with the toilet and the basin.
The receptionist has no training or thinks she is doing the Hotel owners a favour.
The price seems to be ok but when compared with other hotels in the vicinity tends to be overly priced.
No managers were found at the property when needed.
Eventually I checked out after spending few hours for the night.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a window if you are to stay here.

This hotel was fantastic. We had an ocean view room with great facilities and the price was amazing. There is also a rooftop pool and bar. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: The ocean view rooms are spectacular

Pros:
- Currency exchange service with fair rate
- The pool is GREAT specially at night (very great view all the times), also it has couple of tables so you can order something to drink/eat at the top of the hotel enjoying the view.
- Fair English speaking staff
- Semi transparent bathroom inside the room, i find it new & fancy

Cons:
- Light curtain which enters 50% of light at morning
- Noisy staff at corridors (after 7 am)
- Little choices in breakfast (fixed across the days)
- Although location is near beach, but you have to walk a L shape street to reach there, the hotel is at a closed end street, at late night it doesn't feel us safe to walk this 60m street.
- No free late check out.

We booked a standard room for 3 nights at this hotel. It is just behind the Novotel which is on the front of the strip of hotels but I can see how it's difficult to find. Depending on which way you come in you can miss the sign post and maybe not expect to walk to the end of a lane.

The room was smaller than we have had but very modern and in trying to be quirky our bathroom was completely glass, bottom half frosted, fine if you are quite comfortable going to the loo in front of your partner, but I'm not.

Staff were very helpful giving us a map of the town and showing us where things were.

The pool, again very quirky being on the rooftop but it is quite small for such a large hotel and if you prefer the pool to the beach get there early as there are only 2 loungers and a couple of tables and chairs.

Breakfast, there was quite a variety and all very nice.

It's not far from the beach at all and about a 10 minute walk to the bars along the beach.
