I really enjoyed doing this cooking class at Lanterns. As a solo traveller it's is sometime hard to get booked into things but they arranged an extra cooking class for me and someone else to do whilst we were there. There is a trip to the market to buy local ingredients in a rickshaw and the chef explains all the information on how to choose the best ingredients. It is a 3 course meal which you eat after you have cooked it. So come hungry! She also offered us to try a duck foetus when we asked what one of the eggs were but we declined!
