“Good location and international standard hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

This hotel is very central to Town centre and the market. There is a cafe/bar opposite the hotel, which serves cool beer at a cheap price. The waiting staff are helpful, friendly and speak English.

The room was large, clean and with views overlooking the city. This is a 16 storey hotel, which has spa, swimming pool, leisure centre etc. Breakfast is served on the 16th floor with panoramic views and a vast selection of food. Helpful and friendly staff who all speak English. You will not be disappointed with this choice of hotel.

The hotel was clean and neat. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. But I wouldn't class the hotel as a 4 star hotel. Would consider it a 3 star and wouldn't pay extra for the deluxe city view like we did as the view isn't that great from the hotel. Also when booking through agoda we didn't get the option of a 3 sleeper room although they do have them so when we got to the hotel we paid the extra 15 dollars for the extra bed.

Great location - can walk to the night spots. The staff are friendly and speak English. Good amount of options for breakfast. The room we had was clean but needs a little maintenance - bulbs weren't working , but this was addressed immediately. Would definitely stay here again. The only concern we had was very slow wi fi in the room.

Very nice new hotel but definitely caters to tour groups. Very spacious and clean rooms. Had room safe and good wifi. Computers also available for use. Staff was very helpful and friendly. English was spoken by all the front desk personnel and most of the other staff. Breakfast was in a large dining room that could accommodate everyone. Large selection of tasty breakfast items - both Asian and Western. Good central location only a couple of blocks from the river.

This is a very solid hotel with good location and well equipped rooms. We really liked the breakfast which is at (Vietnamese) 4-star level. For all the rest, I find it hard to distinguish from the best 3-star hotels we experienced on our trip. My partner really liked their massage service.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

Although the hotel boasts its 4 stars in reality it's just a standard tourist-class hotel: nice and clean but nothing special. Rooms are mid-size and practical and have the usual amenities (TV, WiFi, hairdryer, coffee maker, etc). Breakfast is quite nice with a broad choice of western and Vietnamese foodstuffs.
While checking in there was a little scene at the front desk. An extremely disgruntled guest was himself very loud (in fact he was yelling) in his complaint about his noisy neighbors. The staff didn't seem to be able to handle this problem and it looked as if they tried to ignore the whole thing, and in doing so, further enraging this guest. In fact the hotel is used by many large travel groups (mostly middle aged and senior citizens) and, as we ourselves have experienced (we stayed 4 nights) almost all of them are remarkably rowdy. Only once did I have to intervene, the rest of the time our earplugs did their job.

So: a very standard (but comfortable enough) hotel. A few little improvements would do a great deal of good. I wouldn't mind going back but I certainly would check out other hotels first.
