The positioning of the hotel is close to all the places of interest and close to restaurants and cafes. The staff at reception were friendly, helpful and the room was brilliant. I would certainly stay at Orchid hotel again.

This was my favorite hotel in Vietnam. I booked the family room w/ internet computer and it was very comfortable. The staff was reliable and friendly. The breakfast was good and had a lot of variety.

I booked their services to tour around Hue and each time the excursion was professional and prices were inexpensive. For example, I needed a Mandarin-speaking tour guide and they were able to locate one for me quickly. They also offered the cheapest price for xfer to Hoi An w/ stopover at Elephant Springs.

We only stayed one night here but found the hotel to offer great service. We arrived very early one morning and they gave us a drink and snack while we waited for our room. As soon as a room became available it was given to us and in fact was an upgrade. Large room, well-appointed with a balcony and lovely bathroom. Very helpful and friendly staff.

We booked into the Orchid for 4 nights on the rcommendation of the reviews on trip adviser. We chose one of the cheaper rooms which looked OK in the photos. When we got there the room was realy small and hot as an oven. The A/C was useless. We complained to the staff and some time later someone came to play with the controls to no availe. We went to the desk and told them that it was no better. We then decided that we couldn't stay as it's very hot in Hue at the moment and you need a room to cool off in from time to time. We found a different hotel around the corner The Asia, which is OK. The management was OK about us leaving .
