Overall = Ok large hotel with amenities

Hue is not known for its hotels or hospitality management yet. However, the people from Central VN are gentle (yet very strong, stubborn & resilient) and reserved. The staff at this hotel is very nice but not overly friendly. Depends on your personality, you may want more gregarious or overtly friendly staff. For me, they were just right.

Staff - friendly but not above & beyond. Front desk was professional :) and we have no issues with the staff. They do tried hard!!! The breakfast buffet staff was helpful and service-oriented. In fact, they were too helpful where they took my daughter's bowl of pho away from her before she could finish (3x) but she was too slow to stop them and we were too busy eating to pay attention :) IT was funny because my daughter was trying to eat other pastries while eating Pho :)

Rooms - avg size, we asked for an extra bed ($$) so it appears to be smaller than our friends.

Decor - Ok yes, it was garish but it was decorated with the colonial style and of VN heritage, so no complaints. Each hotel has its own style. This is no refined but it tries.

Facility - avg for the price, no complaints

Outdoor facility - avg but has a great outdoor and access to the river; Did not realized about the view until the last two days. Do walk around early in the morning but not on the same day that they do the mosquito treatment. I did it one day where they just sprayed and it was not a pleasant smell.

View - Great on 2nd floor for breakfast and afterhours; should have opened the bar later since we wanted to drink and talk longer but they closed the bar too early (bfore midnight). This is where you make $$ from tourists :) who just want to relax and chill with their companions.

Spa - Did not use, can't remember if they have the facility

Pool - large enough, but did not use

Fitness room - OK but did not use

Amenities - No slippers, avg. toileteries

Our family will probably NOT return since we want to try other smaller hotels. Depends on your family traveling style, this may suit a large family with variety of needs.

The staff was OK and nothing negative about the staff.
