We now include cooking classes on each out-of-country trip; each is different. This one was more personal, hands-on and allowed us to perfect our cooking techniques. We chose a vegetarian menu. Although we are accomplished cooks we improved our techniques, particularly slicing and introducing vegetables into the stir fry.. We worked in the kitchen across from the chef. He sliced each of the vegetables and then turned the task over to us replicate what he did on the remaining vegetables. Similarly, he started the cooking and then we took over. The recipes and cooking techniques can be easily duplicated at home.
Everything was as described in the previous review (including the substantial size of the meal we prepared and ate), but our hotel did not know about the classes so we felt it was important to report that the classes are available. Best to drop by the day before to select a time and menu. You will need to prepay a deposit for the class.
