Despite being in Hue for only six nights we went to Duyen Anh twice as the food was so good.
You can choose your own fish or seafood from the tanks on the left of the entrance and tell the staff how you'd like it cooked but we left that up to the restaurant and were not disappointed - even the vegetables (morning glory was superb) were great. Everything we tried was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful and explained how to eat one of the fish dishes by putting some fish and other things into rice paper wraps and dipping them into several different sauces according to your taste. As with many places in Vietnam the beer is not that cold so they offer to put ice in it. but I opted to put the beer bottle into an ice bucket rather than dilute the brew with frozen tap water. Duyen Anh is a bit out of town but well worth going the extra mile for.
