If i had to say just a few words about this hotel it's that it is absolutely not a real five stars hotel , but a 3 stars +, and considering the price you have better go to any other 5 stars hotel in Saigon, and if you want some quietness after a journey in this noisy and crowdy city, avoid for sure this hotel, with his night club and is big shop center.......

Quite ok hotel with a pool at the roof, but it's a bit far from the centre. That's why we do not recommend it. The other reason is that you could hear the bass from the disco at the 3rd floor (we stayed at the 19th). The rooms were nice and clean, but the fridge was broken. The breakfast was a little bit disappointing because we felt that they tried to please foreign turists but didn't know what to serve. For example there was lots of pastries but not really any decent healthy bread. The complimentary shuttle bus was excellent. The hotel is located at the chinese area (district 5) so it's not as well maintained than the district 1 where the most hotels are. There's a nice vietnamese fast food restaurant near the hotel (yellow sign..), the food at the hotel is really expensive.

We had a brilliant trip to Vietnam in April 2008. We spent 3 nights in Hanoi, 3 in Hoi An and 4 in Hoi chi Ming @ the Windsor Plaza. The Windsor was the worst hotel of them all - the other Hotels were far superior. It is not a hotel for the tourist. Breakfast is a battle to get your seat - if not your food, It is noisy and frankly uncomfortable. It is a busy hotel and we felt like the staff had no time for us. The room was smelly and had a 1960s look about it. We LOVED HCMC but did not like the hotel. We spoke with the tour organisers when we came back and recommended that if there was one thing they needed to change - it was to pick a different hotel in HCMC. It didnt ruin the holiday but there are lots of nice hotels in HCMC and a lot better than the Windsor...
