“Stay here! Great location, service and value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2012 via mobile

We stayed at the Signature Saigon for 4 nights in a a deluxe room which included a jacuzzi bath. The hotel is decorated to a high standard and is spotlessly clean. The staff are extremely welcoming and service is second to none. Breakfast was included and was one of the best we have had. Selection of eggs, omelets or soup plus melt in the mouth French bread and outstanding coffee. I would describe it as a boutique hotel in a great location within easy walking distance of the night market, palace and war remnants museum. Well, when I say easy walking distance, you do have to remember that you are in Saigon and there are thousands of scooters to navigate around when crossing the roads......it it best to navigate crossing by making a positive decision to go and then to walk at a stay pace. Miraculously the scooters seen to avoid you. we did have locals stop and help us cross the busy junction by the market. everyone we came across was so very helpful. We spent a day on a walking tour visiting Notre Dam,, Post Office, War remnants museum and the Palace. You can organise tours through desk at the hotel. we took the half day Cu Chi tunnel tour by boat one way and would highly recommend it. We also had one day tour of Mekong which involved several types of boat and a pony ride. Very informative and a great day out on beautiful waterways. We had the best food at a newly opened Korean Restaurant right next to the War Remnants museum. It is a bbq style restaurant and the staff were so helpful in explaining all the dishes, a real feast, especially if you like garlic. The hotel organised tickets for the tourist bus to Mui Ne which cost $5 each for the 6 hour coach journey, including a taxi to the bus station and a bottle of water! not the nicest journey but the must popular way of getting to that area. Alternative is a $100 taxi. To sum up, a great value boutique clean and friendly hotel near to the night market. I would definitely choose to stay there again.

We booked this hotel solely based on the reviews here at TripAdvisor. We used the hotel's website. This was a mistake as its not very accurate.

The normal superior room rates were around $45/night but when we mentioned free pickup offer, they bumped the rate to $50/night!

We made the booking based on the hours that we were going to arrive at. But the website does not calculate that if you are arriving past midnight you still need to book the hotel for that day. So when we reached the hotel, they could not find our name for that night.

After much delay they checked us into an upgraded room. So far not too bad. The bell boy was very friendly. The checkin staff could have been friendlier.

We stayed 3 nights. One day our toddler found a pen and put some markings on the bedsheet with that pen. We were very surprised when the hotel informed us that they would not be able to clean that off and would need to charge us market rates for that sheet. They ended up charging us an extra night's worth ($50) for a bedsheet !!! I know it was our mistake, but still, it felt a bit ridiculous to get charged that much for a bedsheet.

Other than that the rooms were clean and everyone else friendly. The location is pretty decent too, as its in District One and close to everything.

The tours at the hotel are just average fare and its better to look at TripAdvisor for other activities around town.

Room Tip: Superior rooms have no windows. Everything above does. So if you are in need to sunlight, don't...

Spent a week at this hotel - what a surprise.
Stayed in the Execurtive Suite, loads of room and well appointed room. The location was great. I was within short walking distance to all the sites and more importantly, easy to find my way back. What stood out was the staff - I was travelling for business on my own and they made me feel at home. Freindly, attentive and welcoming. Look forward to returning with my family on holidays.
Highly recomend this hotel - so much better experience than those dull chain tourist contract hotels.

Room big, fantastic shower, very hard beds and pillows, even for vietnam! As per other reviews of this hotel the Room was noisy, could hear everything being said in the corridor, good breakfast, friendly staff, our biggest issue was with the manager on the tour desk who steered us away from the tour we wanted (and had done our research on) To one provided by his tour company.

We proceeded to book our own way on the computer over the Internet in our room but we speculated the tour desk was favouring certain operators) for example we got the Saigon Express speedboat to Cu Chi tunnels although a little bit expensive but was excellent, smooth, fast, relatively quiet new Yamaha 200hp outboard, breakfast out and lunch back. Talking to people out at Cu Chi the traffic going out on the bus had the normal Vietnamese pandamodium. The tour desk also didn't want to book our overnight stay near the airport in Hanoi before leaving the country. We booked and now recommend the superior rooms at the Avi Hotel which is cheap, clean and close to Hanoi Airport. Apart from the tour desk that we avoided everything was fine.

Does exactly what it says on the tin!
Excellent and very friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast and close to the centre of things. Nothing bad to say about this hotel and for only £30 a room.... Bargain.

We stayed here for 4 nights on a trip travelling round Vietnam. The hotel is newly open and there are teething problems but one mention of something not being quite right and the staff will literally bend over backwards to sort it out.
Well located close to the main market and in between the Backpackers district and uptown area, we felt safe and at home here and would definitely stay again it was a real oasis from the madness of Saigon!

The hotel is in a good location and within easy walking distance to many attractions in HCMC. We had booked two deluxe rooms and on arrival one of the rooms had been upgraded to a junior suite which was a nice suprise. The suite was larger and had a jacuzzi but was not significantly different otherwise. The rooms were very clean and well appointed, including a computer with wifi access. The buffet breakfast was very nice with plenty of choices. All the staff were very friendly and helpful particularly Mr Ty and My Phi. The airport pick up service was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
