“Very satified”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

I flew to Saigon, stayed overnight at Tan Son Nhat 2 hotel and fly back home next day.
There are many hotels close to the airport to chose from but this particular one seems to stand out from the rest.
Security gate! I thought the taxi took me to the wrong hotel. Every pedestrians or mopeds have to go through a smaller security gate, something I only see in 5 stars hotels in not very secure countries of the world. Saigon or any other cities in VN is Exxxtremely safe for locals and tourists.
Marble tiles, huge lobby area, nice, polite, eager to please 24 hours front desk staff (all university grads!). Outside glass elevator...
5 minutes walk away is a whole world of Saigon with shops, restaurants, food stalls, super markets and everything else I need.
My room was on the 8th floor with night city view from far. Strong a/c, comfy bed, large washroom with an armoire big enough for a family of 4.
I was early at the dining area for the included breakfast. I had 4 people serving me.

Over all, very very satisfied with this hotel.

Room Tip: The hotel site is very exact and complete when it comes to description.

Stayed here for one night in April 2013 and found it to be an average hotel.

Hotel is relatively new and very near the airport. This is good for a quick stopover before heading to the airport. The room is clean, decently sized and that's about it.

The safe was brand new, no one has used it before as I had to remove the safety tab before it can be booted up for use (this shows the occupancy rate I guess). The bathtub is a little too high for safety in my opinion as well. The room has a stale smell and the beds are not comfortable.

Breakfast selection is not extensive as well. Only thing is that there is a Big C right next to the hotel where you can get your daily stuff and some snacks. There are a few fast food outlet/restaurants in the complex as well.

Would choose to stay in the city if I had a choice.

This place is located 5 minutes from the airport in Ho Chi Minh City. Looks new (<5 years). Well kept. Clean. Good sized room with good a/c. Clean bathroom. Okay breakfast that comes with the room. A very convenient and cost effective place to stay near the airport. I'll definitely use this place again.

We stayed at Tan Son Nhat 2 on our last night in Vietnam. We had a very early flight out the next morning. I think we left the Hotel for the airport around 0330 in the morning. The service desk was able to get us a cab easily at this time of day. The bed was comfortable and clean. The only thing that I would say is that the Hotel is not in a active shopping, or restaurant area, even though we did not have much time for that.

Room Tip: The beds had traditional asian bedding. You might have to ask if you want sheets and additional blan...

We stayed here 3 times over 6 weeks, as a stopover hotel.

Our first night the taxi from the airport dropped us off at the wrong hotel. After finally arriving at the right hotel, we were told they didn't have any reservation for us. I had booked through Agoda and couldn't find the confirmation. It was now after midnight and we'd been travelling for thirty something hours. The staff were great, gave us a room and said they'd figure it out in the morning. In the a.m. it was all sorted out with Agoda. No problems.

The hotel is new and very nice. We had rooms on the 6th and 8th floors. Large room with double bed, desk,table/chairs, A/C, coffee, satellite TV and balcony with great views.

The restaraunt was good. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast is included in the room rate. One time it was a buffet and the other 2 times it was a choice between western and Asian breakfasts.

The day of our flight we booked the room (until 8:30p.m.) for 25 USD which we thought was terrific.

My only complaint about the hotel is that it's hard to find. Out of our 4 trips to the hotel only 1 cab driver new exactly where it was. My advise is to print out a map to show the cab driver.

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors have great views from the balcony
