“Interesting place”

The palace is maintained very well, and all the original pieces of furniture give the place an authentic feel. My favorite is the dingy bunker underneath where the ambience of war threat can still be felt.

“Blast from the past”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014

Really worth a visit just to see how the President of the time lived and worked. Grandiose building and surrounding, with each room effectively set up in the same manner. However, the private bedrooms look miserable when compared with the richness of the other rooms. Guessing there has been some significant refurbishment of fabrics, carpets, etc in the state rooms. walk around the gardens, give a wave from the balcony and enjoy it for what it's worth.

“Must view for the history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2014

Great experience to view this wonderful building and see where history was created.
Nice to amble along the hallways and view all the ornate furniture in the place.
This is a must to see if you are in HCMC.

“Go for the history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2014

Go here. Preservation at is best. Tells the story. Make certain you go from top to bunker. Each of the rooms are preserved as they were. Last ticket (2$) is at 4:00 pm. Takes about 1-2 hours if you stop and read every picture.

“Worth the visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2014

We had a few hours to spare in HCM and decided to visit the Reunification Palace. Very interesting visit. Experiencing the untouched 1960's interior design was an added bonus - like stepping back in time!
