“Nothing much”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2011

The building looks gd from outside but there is nothing really much inside. Just showcasing some of the rooms that the president use. Ok to skip this.

“Historically interesting if you remember the tanks entering in 1975”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2011

The "palace" itself is just a nice fancy office building that was the seat of the South Vietnamese President until the overthrow in 1975. Very little of interest inside. They do have replicas of the two tanks that stormed the palace, but they are not the originals, just repainted same models. You can really see everything from the outside.

“Looks like salford town hall!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2011

Really not much to see here, some rooms in the basement looked origional war time but on the most part just looked like a posh conference hall. Good to fill an hour and only 30,000 entry so why not. Wouldnt go again.

“Not really worth a visit - you can see it all by walking past”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2011

There are two interesting parts of the Reunification Palace.

1) It was highly significant in the final days of the Vietnam War when the northern tanks drove through the gate.
2) It was preserved almost in tact from that date - so the interior an amusing 1960s flashback.
