“Great staff, great hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013 via mobile

We stayed in three rooms here, room 1 was the smallest, but had huge window and was a lovely bright room-albeit slightly close to the morning noise of breakfast. Room 3 and 8 didn't have a window, but were still nice, very clean rooms. Cute roof terrace, good location (backpacker area-walking distance to most things) and lovely staff. Spotlessly clean, cute hotel.

Really enjoyed my 2 night stay in this little hotel. Clean, comfortable room with tv, fridge, hot shower, wifi etc. did have room without window, but it was fine, because you can sleep as long as you want- no light, no sounds from outside.
Breakfast was nice, great coffee too. And staff is just fantastic - organise everything for you and you can just relax and enjoy the city.
Will stay again.

Room Tip: Had a room no 9 and it was great. Note they do not have elevator, so if u don't wanna go up and...

I stayed here for two nights and expended one more night at their sister hotel Hotel168. This is one of my best hotel staying experience. The room was clean, good water pressure, fairly priced minibar. Breakfast was simple but well prepared. Most importantly, the staff here were very very friendly, they chatted with me like friends and gave good advises to the sights and restaurants. For every request I had, they provided a satisfactory answer. Strongly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here on our first four nights in Vietnam. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very warm and helpful (organising laundry, telling us the best route to walk around the city, trips etc). Great location - lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Excellent value for money. Wifi signal not great in the room we were in (room 11, which is on the top floor), but we used the outdoor terrace for this and, had we not had a laptop with us, could have used the two free computers in the breakfast room.

Room Tip: We asked for a quiet room and were given room 11 at the top of the building. Would choose this again...

We stayed here on our first two night in Vietnam. The first night they had an electrical problem with our room before we arrived and so they booked us a room at the Hotel 168 around the corner. While this might have upset some people, we understand that stuff happens and we don't fault them in the least. They took good care of us. Advice about the city was great, staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a laid back and informal aire about it but it is also very clean and offers excellent value for money. Despite the myriad of hotel options in HCMC we wanted to stay here again upon our return, but they were full.

This is a great little place set back a little from the centre of the city. Our room, number 7, was located at the front of the hotel and was clean and well presented. The hotel staff were very friendly and helped us to identify sights to see and told us how long it would take us to walk to places as well.

We asked about tours and then didn't end up booking with the hotel but they were laid back and didn't seem to mind. The breakfast was good and there is good internet there too.

I'd recommend this hotel if you want a no hassle, quiet stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a window.

I've read some complaints about this hotel, and I really can't see why you would complain about such a nice place where you can stay for so little money. Yes, the whole bathroom gets wet when you shower. Big deal. This is a great value place and especially a warm welcome for when you first arrive in Ho Chi Minh city (as we did). Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and breakfast is great. Some advice: you can easily book a tour via the hotel, as it is the same price (more or less) as anywhere else. And we had a great tour. If you want to buy an open bus ticket, you'd better go to one of the Futa Busline Companies (orange signs) and buy your ticket over there.

Room Tip: We chose a room with window because of the fresh air. Little did we know there is no fresh air in ho...
