This hotel is very average - we had a room with no windows. Initially the room we got had strong cigarette smell (on the 3rd floor). Given we were both non-smokers, we asked for another room, and were switched to the 5th floor room in the same line, again with no windows. The room was small and cramped. There were a couple of harmless house lizards in the room, if that bothers you. The bathroom in general was very clean. The hotel is located at the back of a tiny alley - so you have to walk through the alley pass some vendors, small shops and a parking lot full of 2-wheelers to get to it. I wasnt too thrilled with this entrance, however, once we figured out how close we were to the happening part of Saigon, it didnt bother us anymore. We could walk to all the best restaurants and bars and good shopping within 2-5 mins. We were about a 3 min walk to the famous Ben Thanh market; right across the Saigon center market; and a block from the bright and happening avenue with top restaurants and bars - Dong Khoi street. We were also able to walk around for a full day to check out the historical sites such as Jade Pagoda, etc. Had a great time. This is in reality a 2 star hotel, but I gave it a 3 star primarily for the location and the cheap rate.
