“Brilliant afternoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2014

Did a cooking course here with my mum in February. Neither of us are particularly passionate about cooking but we loved the food at Hoa Tuc and had a free afternoon so thought we'd give it a try. The whole experience was fantastic. There were just four of us on the day so we felt like we got a lot of help and attention from the chef. The food we made was varied and delicious and it was lovely to be able to enjoy it there and chat with the two other ladies completing the course. This course would suite everyone who enjoys good food and is interested in experimenting with different ingredients and cooking styles.

“Stimulating cultural and culinary experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

The Saigon Cooking Class I attended last Wednesday was exactly what I hoped it would be. Chef Khang was an excellent teacher and chef, and also great fun to be with , with excellent English. Foreigners who live in the city return again to try all of the varied and tasty dishes he produces. The trip to the market first is informative and helpful and the cooking class expertly managed with high standards of cleanliness. I thoroughly recommend this experience!

Brilliant experience :) Chef Khang is a great teacher and we met fellow travellers and shared experiences. It's in a pretty courtyard filled with international bars and restaurants.

“Great experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2014

We both enjoyed the tour of the Ben Thanh markets for cooking supplies and don't believe we would have seen as much without knowing where to go such as the making of spring roll paper. The Cooking class itself was extremely well planned and meticulously organised with a high level of consideration for our hands-on learning experience. We learned a number of new things that will enrich our cooking at home, and obtained recipes that we aim to cook. The food was delicious and the tuition thoughtful and creative. Would recommend this to anyone with an interest in food and culture. Good value for money.
