“Great !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

The Fito Museum is all about traditional Chinese Medicine .Its very interactive and we loved it we learnt so much .starting with a video of Chinese and Vietnamese medicine and how they started .The curator gave us a guided tour of the museum which is a very old traditional building that came down from Hanoi .She showed us how medicines were made and extracted from plants etc.We were given free mushroom tea and at the end of the tour you can buy Fito products but under no obligation .infact they were not pushy at all .We really enjoyed this museum and for anyone interested in Chinese medicine or even would like to know how it all started its a must to visit .Its cheap too only 50 dong about $2.50 per person for entry

“Pretty good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013 via mobile

Not a bad set up. A short video on the history of Vietnamese medicine then a look at the way the herbal remedies were made. Quite interesting and a small shop at the end where you can buy herbal remedies but nobody pushing you to buy anything. Friendly guides that tell some funny stories in broken English - overall a good find

“Unless you've nothing else on the list”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

Its not my first HCM visit, but due to highly rated on TA, decided to give it a go. Entrance is VND50,000 which is more than double compare to many other attraction located at District 1. Showcases Vietnamese Traditional Medicine which I find very Chinese influenced. So if you have some ideas of what Chinese Healing method about, this place is a waste of time. Highlight is the top of that building where someone donated their house to seat on top of that building. Regret for listing this on my very first place to visit on this trip.

“Better than I expected”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

We discovered FITO Museum by accident while we were in Ho Chi Minh City, but we were definitely highly impressed. The building itself and the settings around it were truly outstanding, but we could also explore many interesting things inside. Visiting this museum gives you the opportunity to learn new things about traditional Vietnamese medicine. The guide here was very nice and helpful, and they even give you a gift shop at the end, which consists of a great selection of herbal medicinal tea. Our experience here was well worth the visit, and I strongly recommend you to check this place out.

“Terrific little museum in HCMC”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

I went to the Fito Museum based on what reviewers had posted on trip advisor. I was not disappointed! It is a beautiful, historical building that is well worth the trip. But it was also a great educational experience on herbal and Eastern Medecine. The woman who guided our little group was very knowledgeable and could answer our questions. Very much worth it!
