“Around Ho Chi Minh City”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

It takes me a couple of months to study about Ho Chi Minh. Decided to stay at the Hotel Continental with a huge room and friendly front office staff. It just walking distance to all the attraction/historical area such as Ben Thanh market, Notre Dame Church, Reunification Palace and even the City Hall.

Definitely, i felt very safe during "our own walking tour" with a map on hands exactly. In each of building corners or at the zebra crossing you will find a tourist policeman on standby to hold the traffics so that a tourist like me can cross safely.

Food? I don't find its hard to get a good food here..i can't forget Nha Hang Ngoc restaurant..with a good local food which i forgot the name of the food itself..the one that we need to wrap the beef with some kind of popia wraps. Yes..not to forget the beef mee and the beef stew in the Continental Hotel itself. Marvellous!!!

“Linda was awesome!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

I went last week for a tour to cu chi tunnels with Linda. She was amazing! She made it so clear to think of everything from two sides and as a history teacher, she was very knowledgable with accurate information and personal experience. It was also fun to see the rice paper making before the tunnels and try the food. But I really believe that the guide made the experience much more enjoyable than any other.

“Chu Chi Tunnels & Mekon Delta”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

The Chu Chi tunnels tour was great. I went with my 13 year old son and we both found it really interesting, informative, well organised and gave us a bit of an insight to the ingenuity of the local vietnamese & the dreadful conditions they suffered with bombing, etc. Our guide, Quinie (Nguyen Vu) was a very intelligent and interesting young woman who thoroughly enhanced the tour. We went to the War Remnants Museum after the tunnels - giving ourselves a big does of war - but Im glad we did.

Two weeks later we were back in Ho Chi Minh City and we went on the Mekon Delta tour. This time our guide was Mary (Huong Nguyen). Another fabulous guide, also attentive, charming & intelligent. Urban Adventure really have it together with their staff!

We saw loads of tropical fruit growing, rice farming, fishing/farming, bee keeping, coconuts, etc. We travelled by bus, boat & tuk-tuk. We ate delicious Elephant Ear Fish wrapped with pineapple & cucumber in rice paper, drank rice wine & coconut wine infused with cobra & scorpion. My son held a fat python! It was a really interesting day with great food.

I definitely recommend Urban Adventure tours. They go smoothly, are well thought out and far more interesting than just shopping. If you have any questions the lovely guides are happy to answer.
