“Overpriced, poorly trained staff. Terrible food.”
Heard about this "cool" place. Very dissapointing, very overpriced and the staff have obviously never been trained by a professional manager. The reason I say this is simple, well trained staff ask "how was everything" especially when the customer has just left half of their overpriced food on the plate. But no one bothered asking, they just clear your plate and drop the next one on the table. I had Calamari, it was awful, dry and all you tasted was the coating. The salmon was okay but the mash was dry & lumpy. The manager seemed to be the western guy at the end of the bar who kept talking about himself to an other man, It was hard not too listen as he spoke in a loud voice above the ambient music about how good a manager he was....Very dissapointing and VERY overpriced. Maybe the chef is off on Sunday, who knows and who cares. There are much better and less expensive restaurants in Saigon.

Many thanks for your post. Even though it is difficult to hear some home truths when our product or service is not up to our own very high standards, we are very grateful the feedback - it helps us improve things around here (we can't try every dish, every day)..
I have spoken with our new Italian Chef Luca about the issues raised, and we have revisited the original recipe to see where we might be going wrong. Rest assured this problem will be fixed, and soon!
