Needed 3 hours to fill the "included" broken Jacuzzi. Turned out to be a max dissapointment. the water pressure is so low, you can't take a shower. All of them, I tried 4. The water pressure is so low you can't take a shower. then they provide "jacuzzi" in the room but you get 2 options: swear at them or pay the room: 1.the water pressure is so low that you will never fill the jacuzzi(everytime I was there), 2.the Boiler is so small that after low-pressure water, after 3 hours the jacuzzi is filled but to cold (5 times). 3. after the jacuzzi is filled in you realized the Jacuzzi is broken!!!(2 times)..

we've stayed here for two nights during a short trip to HCM. If you are looking for a clean hotel only to spend a couple of hours every night to reload your battery, then it is absolutely fine.
The hotel has nothing much to offerm but it is quite clean, well located and cheap (50 USD a night)

SO what do you want more if you want to spend most of your time outside exploring this amazing city.

Not a bad hotel. Costs about $50/night and good value for it. The breakfast was a bit too asian, noodles, rice and fish. Yum, just what people want after a skinful. The area around the hotel was a bit quiet for bars etc. If you want night life go to the back packers area around De Tham Street about 5mins walk away. Be choosey re suit and shirt makers as some much better than others. There are a few places of interest nearby including the War remnant museum.

I'm glad I didn't read alot of the reviews on here or we probably wouldn't have stayed here, in the end I'm are glad we did.
Firstly, we ended up here because with no booking we'd previously headed to the recommended 'Spring hotel', as that hotel was fully booked we looked into this one which is a couple of doors down.
Chose a deluxe double room (about 35 quid) and it was beautiful, huge bed with immaculate clean sheets and the most comfortable mattress in Vietnam, free computer use (in the room) with internet, usual tv and minibar etc etc.
The hotel is bang on a busy intersection but we didn't really hear too much noise, slept like babies.
The hotel's location is fantastic with 80% of the sights within a reasonable walking distance.
The staff didn't speak much English but DID try hard to help us with directions and printed out a small map for us.
There is a small restaurant downstairs where they probably serve breakfast but we didn't use it so can't rate.
In respect to other reviews, we didn't encounter any hookers in the hotel so if it WAS happening it was very discreet.
Downsides. err.. no pool and that's about it really,
I would recommend.

I stayed here for work. There were about 8 of us for the same meeting in this hotel and most of us had to change room at leaks once in the 3 nights we were there. I changed 3 times, once they had already given my room to another customer and the second night when there was a storm and the room flooded!
The room are very strange. Shiny mirrored flowers everywhere. Glitter wallpaper and plastic leather dressers, felt like staying in a kids room.
The breakfast is average but fine.
The staff are not very helpful, and on our way out to the airport the receptionist told us she had booked our taxi. When it arrived she told us it would be 30 $. The trip is normally 7 or 8 dollars. We felt this was a bit much since we gave them good business.
We won't be staying here when we return.

I would strongly suggest first time visitors to stay in this hotel as it is situated at the most convenient location. Be it you are on a vacation or a business trip. It is just walking distance from most of the shopping malls, restaurants and historical places such as opera house, post office and many more. The room is small and clean. Designs of the hotel are modern and the service staffs are very friendly when I was first arrived. It is overall value for money!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the A&Em located at 150 Le Thanh Ton, directly opposite the Ben Thanh Market, for 2 nights.

The hotel itself is very basic but clean. We had a room with no windows, and at times got a little claustrophobic, but it served its purpose.

We would suggest getting a room with a view for an extra $5 as Saigon is one of the best people watching cities in the world.

The location of the hotel is second to none. Directly in the heart of district one, opposite the Ben Thanh market and within walking distance to many restaurants, massage parlors and drinking holes.

Recommended for short stays where all you're needing is a clean room, bathroom and bed.
