We stayed at this hotel because of the strong reviews on TA and the comments about the nearby seafood street. Overall, this is a decent hotel, but we were disappointed.
This was our third brief visit to HCMC in the last six months. Next time, we will go back to more centrally located hotels in District 1, even if it costs a few extra bucks -- there is value in staying at a hotel that is near the shops and restaurants that you will likely want to visit. Though the location of this hotel is not desirable, it is no less noisy than hotels in the heart of the city - I've stayed at hotels in district 1 and heard no street noise in the room.
We booked the suite, which is a good sized room with a separate sitting area. The carpet was already filthy but the bathroom was clean and spacious. The bed was pretty comfortable.
The staff is not particularly friendly, but that is the norm in HCMC (based on our experience). When we checked out, they pulled the "credit card machine is broken” routine because they wanted cash. I insisted on using my credit card and, of course, the machine was working. The clerk even tried the "hold the card upside down trick" when running it through the card reader, but they weren't too insistent or nasty about it.
Had a fun and good late-night meal on the seafood street mentioned in a couple of reviews, but you don't have to go there for this type of experience. According to a local friend who joined us for dinner, these types of restaurants are in many neighborhoods. We did not try the included breakfast, so we can't comment.
In summary, the hotel and service were ok, but I would not stay there again due to the location. Tip – don’t rely on a TA rating until there are a relatively large number of reviews.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights at Thien Thao Hotel and wished we had chosen somewhere else after the first couple of nights. We suffered from sleep deprivation due to loud, cheesy music being played by the cinema opposite. We changed rooms but this didn't help. The music would start at around 6:30am and go until around 10:30pm. It might have been later on the weekend and I found it much harder to ignore than the traffic noise (the Vietnamese love honking their motorcycle and car horns every few seconds).

The breakfast menu was very limited with a choice of noodles, wonton soup or eggs and bread. There was no fresh fruit, not even juice. However, on the positive side, from the breakfast area downstairs we could help ourselves to sachets of coffee (with powdered milk and sugar, not great but drinkable), tea and water at any time during the day or night.

There wasn't much of interest close to the hotel. We walked to the downtown area a few times and it took around an hour. It was a good way to explore but there wasn't much of interest on the way. Taxis cost between US$2 and $3, depending on how well we bargained. There was a limited choice of good places to eat near the hotel. A Vietnamese pancake chain restaurant nearby was the best option. A pizza restaurant a few doors down the street was also fine but we preferred to eat Vietnamese food. Other places nearby didn't have menus in English and I was not brave enough to eat at them when one restaurant menu showed pictures of a menagerie of animals including rats, snakes, guinea pigs, dogs and cats, all of which could be ordered for dinner.

I've lived on and off in Vietnam for 2 years and traveled throughout the country extensively. This hotel was the best combination of quality and value that I have experienced. Hotel is very new. Everything very clean and well kept. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Wi-Fi is complimentary of course and as fast as any place I've stayed at in HCMC. Location is ideal in my opinion - central enough to be convenient (about 5-10 minutes by motor bike or 10-15 minutes by taxi from the central District 1 locations, i.e. Opera House, Saigon Center, etc) but not too close to the action to be loud at all hours of the night. I have never given all 5's (see below) to any hotel. I gave higher ratings to this hotel than any I've stayed at in HCMC, including everything from $20 - $200 a night.

I'd really interesting when stay at this hotel. All rooms have window, it's the first thing we like.
I have to say thank a lot by their service. I booked this hotel via by Tripadvisor and when i contact to request airport pick up service from airport, i really suprise because he offer free of charge for us. It's a great impression, they gave us.
Last morning, we came down to take breakfast, they offered 4 or 5 Vietnamese food and some bread, ham, cheese, butter,milk, coffee,teas, fruit, they're enough for us.
Second day, we went to Mekong Delta with Tours offering by this hotel. I took many photos around Can Tho market with floating boat. And when we came back the hotel, we were tired and sleep well, this hotel is not noisy as City centre hotels. They got nice impression by me, this hotel should come in Saigon. I still have 2 days to travel in Saigon and i will post them soon.
