I love Vietnamese food as they use lots of raw vegetables and herbs and the rice flour flat noodles in the pho and steamed rice rolls are just so smooth but chewy at the same time, the kind of texture I can't find anywhere else. My cousin whom I had dinner with is not too keen on Vietnamese food though so he chose a restaurant with both western and Vietnamese cuisine and we had a good dining experience. The four of us ordered many items to share, both western and Vietnamese and they were all quite good except for the grilled whole garoupa which was too well done. Service was good and we actually were the last table to leave past midnight.
It was quite funny as the restaurant actually was already closed by maybe 11 pm but no one chased us out and they left the lights around our area on when they left us alone so we could continue our conversation without being disrupted at all and we appreciated it. An experience I never had before.
