This should have been a five star review, but petty penny pinching by the management have soured my otherwise great opinion of this hotel. More on that later. We booked a "Northern Suite" room, for a little over $100 a night. It was a beautiful room, the best (and most expensive) that we stayed in during our two week trip. The bed was comfortable, the pillows soft, the suite had comfortable lounges, the room was huge, the bathroom was clean and spacious, the lights were many and varied, breakfast had a great range of foods, both local and international. A real luxury.
And we really enjoyed our stay here, apart from the check in.
Firstly we were sent to a "Superior Double" room, which was nice enough, but nothing like the "Northern Suite" we had booked. To cut a long story short, the hotel management seemed more concerned that there were two people in our room rather than one (somehow Agoda had put the number of people as one, not two), but instead of making an effort to try and put us in the correct room, they wanted to charge an extra $10 per night for the extra person. I politely suggested that it would be a good idea to forget the extra charge to compensate for the inconvenience of having to move rooms, wait another half an hour to get the room etc. They finally agreed to $5 extra a night, but my gripe is that I had to ask, rather than the hotel offer some small benefit for the inconvenience they caused.
If you can afford a "Northern Suite", go for it. But make sure they put you in the right r...

I am glad that you and your wife enjoyed your holiday with us and that you have been able to relax and enjoy our beautiful Northern Suite. I am also pleased to hear that your overall stay with us was satisfactory.
Regarding to the mistake of room arrangement, my staff – Mr. Nguy Quoc Hung (Sales Executive – email@example.com ), he has arranged room Superior instead of Suite, due to he did not read the booking confirmation from Agoda carefully, we apologize for big problem from Hung (this is the first time it happens). Besides, the Sup & Suite are nearly the homonym, that is the reason why he did the mistake. Nevertheless, we have given you a real comfortable Suite and you really have a good time with us, is it right, my valued guest?
