“Good value, central location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

We stayed in a Park View room on the 7th floor with a balcony, which was very clean, quiet, had a comfortable bed and a large modern bathroom. The buffet breakfast had a lot of choices and the view over the city from the dining area was very good. Don't be put off by the outside view as it is in/close to the old quarter and within walking distance of Hoan Lake. Very friendly staff who organised pickup from and to the Airport. $18 US. one way.

This hotel was adequate for our one night stay in Hanoi. Room was good /size and comfortable. Bathroom modern and clean. View from room not so great, but your in the middle of a city. Breakfast was fine with good choices and at top of hotel so good views of the city. Its quite good location and within walking distance of lake area. Would stay again for short stay. Staff we encountered were friendly and courteous. Bar on bottom floor cosy and barman chatty and friendly.

Located on the edge of the old quarter this small hotel was our first stop in Vietnam and we were pleasantly suprised. Friendly staff who all spoke english to some degree. Nice rooms, we stayed in 3 different ones during our stay Hanoi. Good breakfast. Found pillows a bit to big, but that is a personal issues, used a seat cusion instead.

Room Tip: Request room with a window, the room we had with no window we found a bit stuffy.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our Vietnam and Cambodia tour. We had a "Deluxe" room on the 2nd floor which was quite acceptable though nothing special. The room was clean enough, comfortable double bed, quite quiet too as our room was at the back of the hotel. I would probably recommend this, as there are 6 million motorbikes in Hanoi!
The breakfast was included, which was buffet style and had a fair choice of items. The restaurant was on the top floor and had lots of windows offering fine views over Hanoi city.
The hotel is well situated for tours and walks. An oblong park area is just opposite the hotel which is used by the locals for Tai Chi early in the morning, and socialising / relaxing for the rest of the day / night.
One thing perhaps needs pointing out for less able people, the entrance to the hotel is via 2 fairly steep staircases from street level.

This was our first hotel stay during a tour of Vietnam North to South and the lowest star rating within the itinerary, but frankly it is my favourite and probably the best. Reception was friendly and, arriving early in the morning, the staff went out of their way to make available an early check in to our room which had not been pre booked- providing us with coffee whilst we waited. We stayed in a front facing room on the 6th floor which had a great view of the vibrant city - tai chi in the park- and yet with surprisingly very little noise. The room was very large with spacious seating area and superb bathroom. I attach some photos. We found the pressure and temperature gauge of showers within Vietnam to be dreadful but this Hotel provided one of the best bathroom facilities. Breakfast too was very pleasant - nice environment with more than sufficient choice and freshly prepared food. It was a good location to walk through the main route into the old quarter, whilst negotiating the traffic which you soon get used to!
Thank you for a great start to our holiday.

If you are looking for a small intermate hotel rtight in the heart of Hanoi then this is the place. Good size rooms with all facilities including tea and coffee in room. The staff are the most helpful and with an afternoon to spare there may be a freelance guide available. Breackfasts are a joy good choice and plenty of it. Would highly recommend this hotel.
