We booked this hotel through a hostel website after reading good reviews. It was a very big disappointment. We only stayed one night and moved to a much nicer place, but it did cost alot more. We were in room 102, $16US which is straight up the first stairwell in the middle of the hotel. The noise from downstairs carried straight up and into the room, it seemed from every direction. The window opened internally into the hotel and there was no natural light. The room consisted of a double bed with extra high pillows. The whole room had a dampness about it and was very musty. It was clean, but the smell and dampness were unbearable. The aircon didn't seem to work, and some pipe in the bathroom permanantly leaked - consistantly leaving water all over the bathroom floor and leaking out to the hall. The bath was just free standing in its corner, so water would spill out everywhere. Subsequently we moved just around the corner to a great hotel called Lucky Star Hotel 18 Hang Hom, not the one that is in all the reviews. Another - much better one. Anyway I can't recommend Lucky Star from our experience, but I did met some other great travellers there who were very helpful.
