“Ho Chi Min was a great leader and loved by his people”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

A not too biased view of the results of the American War on Vietnam as seen from their perspective. Well worth a visit, at least its open more than 8 hours a day, not like the Ho Chi Min Monument.

“This museum is a must for any visitor to Hanoi.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2014

The museum is an outdoor museum with an excellent explanation of the way of life in earlier days. Visitors will be interested in the unique "homes" and burial traditions of the time.

“"never getting bored"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2014

in the Tet festival in the museum, i had chances to play many traditional games of ethnic people, listen to Muong people share about their real life and enjoy very interesting stories. Each time i come to the museum, i find something new and kind of strange. House models and the way they build the house are really impressive. in each house, there are some students who are doing internship here. they friendly, enthusiastically give you very interesting information about the house and special customs. If you just look through then leave, it;s pity because you will never know many stories around, and even, stories that you need to learn a lot in your own life. come and enjoy!!!

“Very interesting”

A guide is necessary to understand the meaning of this nice museum. Games in the garden makes the visit pleasant

“A gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2014

One of the best places to go to in Hanoi. More information than what you typically get in Vietnamese museums. Outdoor part is best, great spot for kids
