This was a very informative museum. It's worthwhile and very interesting. There are a plethora of traditional artifacts on display. It gives you a great perspective on the diversity of the country.

“Worth a look”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2011

We found this interesting and worth the trip. We had two boys with us who loved the outdoor part of the museum especially all the swinging bamboo and the trees to climb. You could spend a few hours here easily provided the weather is good. The inside part would only take 45-60 mins to view.

“Good collection of local clothing and household goods”

Displays are well put together. Nice collection.
Excellent (but small) gift shop selling genuine hand made crafts under not-for-profit model.

“Must see.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2011

I usually get bored with museums after about half an hour, but this one is my favourite museum. I enjoyed this place very representative of Vietnam. Ethnics minorities are well represented, their culture, their habit. It was set up modernly, interesting to look at it. The organisation, managing was very professional. 54 Ethnic minorities which represent the Vietnam was a wonderful discover. It is just great and really give you a sense of the country you are.

“Noteworthy”

Excellent source of information about Vietnam. Hear the story of Ho Chi Minh and how he spent his last few years there. Step into his house and see the simplicity of it.
