“Excellent food & price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

I loved the food, the friendly team and wonderful owner. The huge picture board menu made it easy to choose nice dishes and the 6-7 that I delighted in eating were all excellent! Go try it, you can't go wrong :)

“Excellent food from Imperial Hue in a friendly little restaurant in Hanoi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

Loved this place and kept going back once I had found it. Run by a family and friends from Hue, they serve authentic Imperial Hue dishes at very reasonable prices. Exceptional value for a restaurant right in the centre of the touristic Old Quarter. If you have never tried Hue cuisine before I would recommend Banh Beo (steamed rice cakes topped with spring onion and shrimp meat) followed by Nem Lui (meatballs which you roll in ricepaper wrappers together with salad herbs, cucmber, pineapple - and dip in a peanut based sauce - delicious and fun). The owners are friendly and helpful. Miss Hang speaks English and will happily adjust the dishes to fit dietary requests - vegetarian, seafood, no seafood etc.

“all I can say is WOW!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

So far in my eating ventures in Vietnam I have not been let down, I popped in here after passing earlier in the day, I saw a bunch of things on the menu i have not seen before. The prices are very reasonable for a touristy area, dishes from 30,000 VND, beer also quite reasonable.

We stuffed our faces for a total of 196,000 VND which comprimised of 2 Tiger beers, 2 large noodle soups and 3 side dishes. The sides are just mind blowing, the flavours just blow you away. The soup was very flavoursome and filling. I think the rice rolls, with pork and shrimp paste was the dish that stood out to me, never had anytihng like it (Had a very long Vietnamese name!). The service was soso but just go for the food, it came quick enough.

“Tasty cheap Vietnamese food in great family run restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

This is a great wee budget restaurant with delicious eats from Hue. It is family run and they were so accommodating and eager to help which they did! We would go back. Great menu on wall with pictures of the plates.
