“Really interesting & Informative!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

I personally found the Museum of the Revolution informative, interesting and very well documented covering Vietnam's colourful history (who didn't try and screw them over?!). And I'm not normally overly keen on museums as such.

Well worth a visit and to add to the experince it is very well air-conditioned on a hot and humid Hanoi day .... well worth a visit.

“Would have liked more info”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

This museum is organised in numbered rooms with arrows leading the way from early 20th century to present day (note that the first rooms are on the second floor).

The display is mostly objects and pictures, there might be a picture of a pamphlet in vietnamese with a short description detailing the contents in viet/french/english.

I would have wished for a few posters with more detailed info about the political/military situations the objects related to. To get the most out of this museum I think you should be familiar with the general reigonal timeline.

“Pretty good historic review”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

It seems that from reading other reviews, some people missed sections of this museum.
Everything is documented in three languages (Vietnamese, French and English). A lot of photographs and the room are arrange in historical sequence. So you need to pay attention to the room numbers to visit this in the right sequence. I really liked it. Starts in the early 1900s.
