“Not a museum for everyone ”

Suitable for those who are interested in the history of Ho Chin Minh and his party. Personally i recommend this to people who want to see beautiful interior design of a modern museum.

“Great Destination”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2014

We visited Hanoi 1 month ago is a great destination. During that time we visited Hochiminh mosuleum intelligence is the soul of this city, very clean, spacious, quiet, demure and amazing scenery. you can visit the next location such as one-pillar pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Museum, house of Uncle Ho. Definitely, we'll be back Hanoi in the next trip.
You can visit Hochiminh Mosuleum everyday morning except 2nd and 6th. I recommend avoiding weekends because there are so many Vietnam, you will have to queue.

“Best experience in Hanoi ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

A lot of people complaining that this museum is very abstract but this is why it's excellent. The second floor try to connect revolution and art and the results is wonderful and very inspiring.
From Me it was amazing to see how abstract concept of art and freedom connect to material concept of revolution. Definitely the best museum I have been in Vietnam.

“Best museum experience in Vietnam ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2014

We tend to visit all the major and also minor museum everywhere we go, this one is definitely a must see.
The first floor is OK, many pictures that glorify HCM, some might even call it propaganda.
The second floor is really something else. if you wish to see the connection between revolution and art, and the meaning of art in the human political existence, then this is the place for you!
It is very abstract, so if you don't have any background in art, cultural studies, etc. Then it is better if you look for a guide or read about the museum before - in my opinion, this place should not be missed.

“20 minutes of your life that you wont get back”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2014

What a waste of time! This place is not built with the English speaking tourist in mind. In fact even the exhibits aren't interesting in any way!
