Description: Pots ‘n Pans is about innovation. Vietnamese cuisine infused with an international flair. Our food takes the best ideas from modern Vietnamese and puts a new spin on them. The flavours are familiar but done differently. We don’t want to detract from what we believe to be the core of Vietnamese cuisine which is a big emphasis on fresh and local ingredients. However, we believe that the produce found in Vietnam should lend itself to a wider range of cooking techniques and presentation.Pots ‘n Pans is a dynamic partnership between Know One Teach One (KOTO) and its training program graduates along with its international partner; Small Giants. KOTO is a not-for-profit organisation in Vietnam that is changing the lives of street and disadvantaged youth through vocational training. Small Giants is a boutique Australian impact investment company that is dedicated to businesses that are changing the world.

“a new favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

I love this place - chic, vibey, great art, fabulous social enterprise story, feel-good atmosphere, impeccable service - but most important, great food. Just scrumptious. I had an amazing alchemist's treasure of duck with tamarind after a brilliant starter of tofu, then a divine crème brûlée - all with a Vietnamese flair. I like the fact that there are all kinds of dining options - space for large groups, nooks for private parties, or a great lounge area for events, and yet at every level it still somehow feels intimate. Can't wait to go back.

“There was nothing we did not love about this place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

Excellent modern Vietnamese food, wonderful stylish contemporary setting, fantastically well trained and friendly staff. Must visit whether you are a local, expat or just passing through. Expect to pay international prices for you meal, worth every single penny. Well done to the KOTO initiative, what a way to show off what contemporary local cuisine can be like. Inspirational.

“Good atmosphere and service but expensive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013 via mobile

We had dinner for two. The French style starter was excellent, perfect combination and presentation of the bread, pate and herbs. The beef steak main course was OK but too small portion. The lobster was not fresh and overcooked. Professional service and nice decor but price is expensive compared to similar western style restaurants in Hanoi.

“World Class”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

Pots & Pans is perhaps the best restaurant we have dined in. From the moment the doorman spots you coming, to when he bids goodbye and all in between it's a first class experience. Almost certainly due to excellent training and leadership by their delightful Manager, the staff have the same welcoming quiet politeness that strikes a level of engagement with you that is spot on. This quality across all staff is close to unique and sets the standard for all else.
The decor and layout of the restaurant matches the superb standard set elsewhere and the food. The food is just wonderful.
Want World Class at standard western prices, this is it.
Congratulations to all concerned including KOTO and the Australian backers, your ethical investment is superb.

“love this restaurant!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

Pots n' Pans is a must if visiting Hanoi. The food is very impressive, interesting and sumptuous. Service was perfect and staff are very knowledgable about what they are serving. Very well priced considering the quality of the food.
