“My Vision for New Vision Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2012

Good service. Polite staff. Hotel is in the heart of the city. Walking distance to the Hon Kiem Lake, Water puppet theater and shopping area. Night Market area is also just 5 minutes away from the hotel. 2 small supermarket near the hotel, massage place 1 block away, nail salon 2 mins away... Several restaurant around the area. Wi-fi in the hotel is also good. They have 3 public computers that guests can use for free. All in all it was a good experience for us. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: No lifts in the hotel. Better ask for lower room.

We book a family suite room with 1 double bed & 2 single bed with large space. the only weakness is this hotel didn't have lift but the helpful staff will help us carry our lugage. Thanks to their helpfulness ^^

We stayed there for 3 nights. We booked a family suite. The room are spacious, with 2 single beds and 1 queen size bed) we still have plenty of rooms for our baggage. Rooms are clean. Try to get room at a lower floor as the hotel is without a lift. Thus, if your rooms are located at the 3rd floor, there are a lot of stairs to climb plus the stairways to your room are very hot as it is near the roof. Bonus point, fruits platter are sent to our room everyday which to me a nice gesture. The wifi works just fine for my kids.
Location wise, it is within walking distance to the night market.
We booked all our tours through the hotels and very satisified with the services. One thing stand up about this hotel are the friendly staff which will try to do their very best to serve you. They can even changed the money for you using the commercial bank rate they download from the internet. Thank you Mr Chung, Mr Dat and all the staff at the reception counter.

We stayed there 3 nights with my wife. The staff made a really good impression on us when we arrived. There were friendly and took some time to show us the map. We paid 25$ with breakfast included. With more experience in Vietnam, we know you can find similar standard for cheaper price even in Hanoi. During breakfast, staff gently tries to hook you to some tours and do not insist. The first night we got awaken in the morning by constructions. We told the reception when going for breakfast and they changed our room immediately. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The wifi works well. Rooms are made every day. You can stay there safely.

New Vision is in the thick of it, in the old quarter. A very good location for all the action. The holiday is a little bit tired but the staff are extremely helpful and friendly and make the tiredness of the building not really matter. They are very helpful if you want to go exploring or require a taxi or information, they are more than happy to help. The buffet breakfast was not bad either, this was included in the price of the room. The prices are very good.

Room Tip: There is no lift in the building so can be a bit difficult with elder parents.

Hotel is well placed in the old quarter, rooms are older and in average condition. Staff are friendly and willing to help you as they have a tour desk in the lobby which forms part of the business. Breakfast food was good. Some rooms have no windows and there is no lift.

Room Tip: Top floor family room has a window and is great value
