“Lovely hotel, especially if your flight/bus/train away from Hanoi is late in the day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

Great location, lovely reception area; had a restaurant which looked decent although we didn't eat there. The rooms were spacious and well cleaned, although a bit stuffy as there were no windows. The staff were very helpful though they were almost always trying to sell their services in-between.

BEST THING: If you're leaving Hanoi later in the day and are worried about where to keep your baggage, they have an excellent holding system in place for free.

Stayed here for 3 nights in total with a 2 day 1 night trip to Halong bay in-between booked by the hotel. When we first arrived we were upgraded our lovely en suite room had everything.. Including dressing gowns!!! Wifi brilliant everywhere to research the area & plan days out. Amazing rate per night for what you get! Set dinner menu starter, main & dessert including a beer for just 80,000 dong (£2.50!) which was great! On our last day manager Tom booked us flights for half the price we found on the internet! If you need anything go to him! Thanks guys!

I was at this hotel for just 1 night, joining my friend for a trip to the north and she chose this hotel mainly due to the convenient location. While I personally liked the interior of the room & the bed, the one thing that put me off was the bad smell of mold in that room (one corner of the wall was moldy) and if I would have stayed longer I would have wanted to change rooms, as the smell was intense.
The staff are very lovely, helpful, very friendly and show that they care about their guests!
Great area with many coffee shops, shops and bars.

P.S.: Don't miss eating at the Green Tangerine, which is just next door!

This place is just amazing. We've stayed at the Hanoi Amanda Hotel several times while being in Hanoi. The rooms are very clean - there's enough space for luggage and the people are super friendly!
Nice little restaurants and street food just around the Hotel. I would totally recommend staying there.

Room Tip: we've booked a Deluxe room!

We booked a tour to Halong Bay and also a tour to Sapa with the folks at Amanda Hotel. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, an were willing to work with our limited budget (so don't be afraid to keep asking for a cheaper price - we were totally satisfied with our trips). They also let us leave our extra bags at the hotel while we were on the tours. And although we did not actually stay at the hotel, some friends of ours did, and they said it was a positive experience. Thanks guys!
