“Great for vegetarians”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

I've just had a relaxed lunch in this comfortable cafe. It was fairly easy to find down a side street and has comfortable arms chairs and more traditional cafe tables on ground and first floors. Lots of noticeboards advertising events and classes, and some second-hand books for sale. Service was quick and friendly. I had the daily special (wherever you go, i find it good to go for the special if it sounds ok, as it will probably be fresher and the chef will be more interested in it rather the the dishes served every day). Today was a tofu burger, slices of mango on top, baked sweet potato and courgettes on the side. Delicious. 110,000 dong, so not cheap compared with local Vietnamese restaurants but compares well with those catering for westerners (while i was there, there was a mix of expats and young Vietnamese eating there). Much much better than the Tamarind, for example, which probably caters for a similar crowd. Highly recommended.

“Peace n Quite combined with a piece of home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

So glad we went here, it's a little piece of Australian cafe scene in Hanoi. Beautiful decor and you feel like a world away from the noise outside, very chilled out vibe. The menu is completely western and the quality of the ingredients and food is exceptional. We dined for dinner and all having a burger fix (both meat and vego options) and the signature dish (pumpkin salad) is definitely worth trying. As to be expected the food is slightly more expensive than local food but it's worth every cent (and actually not that expensive compared to equivalent in Aust), if you need a little fix of home food. Breakfast menu looked amazing too! Definitely worth a visit

“A home away from home.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

This place is perfect if like me your a westerner feeling a little homesick. You could literally pick this place up and drop into the centre of London and it business would thrive.
The food is more expensive than what you'd find in other parts of Hanoi (average meal 100.000 - 150.000) but not only are the ingredients delightfully fresh the portions sizes are huge. You will not walk out of there feeling hungry.
It has a great array of western food, something to tickle everyone's fancy!

I'll be back again and again. Thank you!

“A Gem of a place!”

An excellent find in the heart of Hanoi. Quirky and surprising throughout, a fine display of local original contemporary art and the finest belly busting breakfast!

“Away from the madness”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

Great place tucked away from the madness of central Hanoi and great fix if need a change from local food. Small and good menu of healthy western style treats - not bad cocktails either. And roof top terrace is very sweet!
