Room great, nicer than hotels we have paid much more for! They let us leave our luggage there for 2 night and helped us with posting card etc. Very helpful. The room was very clean and the television had some great movie channels. Free wifi, tea, coffee, fruit and computers! Superb breakfast aswell. Highly recommended of you want to stay near hoan kiem lake.

Little Hanoi Hostel 2 is a great place to stay. The location is fantastic, right by the scenic lake in downtown Hanoi and a few minutes walk from the old quarter. The staff were brilliant in helping us book our onward train tickets as well as two tours; one to Ha Long Bay and the other to Sapa, both very reasonably priced. Both were great and we felt very smug as we heard other travellers complaining about their tours. The rooms we had were spacious, very clean and compared to ther hostels so far on this trip, ver cheap too. To top it all off, the free noodles fr breakfast are excellent, I havent tried any of the other foods as thi s is too good not to have.

Everyone at the hostel, from the owner down to the guys who work in the kitchen are friendly, helpful and always greet you with a smile and a big 'Hallo'. they always remember your name and seem very happy to see you. All in all, this place gets ten out of ten for everything!!!

Room Tip: Only stayed in two, 402 and 302, both identical and up to a very high standard. If you are carrying...

The free airport pickup makes a big difference as the hawks circle at Hanoi airport and it takes a good hour to travel to Hanoi city centre. I'm so glad we didn't have the hassle of organising our own transport after a long flight.

Upon arrival my girlfriend and I were greeted by the manager like long lost friends and he made us feel very welcome. He was great fun throughout our stay and helped organise our trip to Halong Bay and subsequent train journey South. The rest of the staff were similarly excellent. Always friendly, smiling and willing to help. I'm convinced they wouldn't say no to ANY request.

The rooms were clean with big beds, aircon, cable tv and a fridge. Breakfast was free, as was a meal they cooked for us one night. This led to a night out in Hanoi to remember with a group of fellow backpackers.

Little Hanoi Hostel 2 could not have been more willing to make our stay in Hanoi an enjoyable one. After staying in dozens of hostels around the World I'm in no doubt this one is the best I've visited.

Clean rooms with airco, very friendly and helpful staff. Open 24/7 and always at least member of the staff who is good at english present, you can't go wrong with this place.
They try to help. Back from some travel through the rest of vietnam? Don't look suprised if they offer you a room so you can take a quick shower before moving on.
Are they out of rooms? they have several other establishments within walking distance, so there is a good chance you'll be able to stay in one of those. And since they all have the same awesome level of service, you can't go wrong with Little Hanoi.

The only downside is that they don't have elevators. But if you're going to hanoi, you'll probably be walking a great deal. So how much of a drawback can this be?

The staff are great and very helpfull, the rooms are small {some with no windows} but were very clean, They came with a fan, aircon, tv, mini fridge and a welcome snack with free bottle of water. The beds are hard but that suits me. Breakfast was fine, fruit and a small fry with bread and as much free tea or coffee you want, Free wifi and access to computers with a printer, They will do trips if you want.On our last day we checked out of the room and did a final trip around Hanoi, when we came back to be collected for the train we were aloud use another room to shower before we left, it made the night trip so much nicer. Its located right at the Lake easy acces to everything. We are back in Hanoi for one more night and will be staying there again. They forgot to collect us from the airport and were so sorry they will be talking us back for free instead

Room Tip: They will help you anyway they can, call other hotels your moving onto so your collected at the stat...

We stayed here for 2 nights upon arriving in Hanoi and were greeted with a warm welcome, The rooms were nice and had all necesary facilties. We also arranged our travel to Halong Bay thru the helpful staff, and it didnt dissapoint. Also we easily arranged our train to Sapa which was a reasonable price. Highly recommend this hotel for good central location, yet set back from the hustle bustle and noise of the main road.
