“Heavenly!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

My number one TEA venue for meetings and time alone.

This is serene, beautiful, and simply put, one of the best experiences I've had in the word.

For tea-worshippers and regulars alike, this offers something for everyone. Beautiful evening outdoor (rooftop setting) sets the scene of West Lake. What better way to spend an evening watching the sun set.

“Unique View, service and drinks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2012

a charming tea house with special blends of " traditional" "Mandarin" "teas", a small menu of savories and sweets, great view and peaceful space. they can't be earning enough to stay open long, so visit soon.

“Peaceful tea house to gather your thoughts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2011

This is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of Old Quarter and the usual touristy spots. The staff speak rudimentary English and the menu is trilingual - Vietnamese, English and Japanese. We tried the white tea which was very nice, and it came with some complimentary cubes of green bean cake. We sat upstairs, which had nice comfortable furniture overlooking a river.

You can stay for a bite or go downstairs, turn right to the restaurant next door. It's a coffeeshop with dumpling noodles so they can't really speak English but it's nice to have a bowl of piping hot noodles with pork dumplings.

Overall a very nice experience.

“Beautiful tea and Westlake view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2011

I come quite often these days since the weather is beautiful in October. my favourite drink is Grandma tea and Hanoi Old Quarter tea. It would be better if you drink those hot, but still very good when you drink it cold. To make it perfect, order another "o mai" (dried fruits) mixed selection to finish your taste.
The owner is very friendly, service is good. More important is, the view to Westlake is so peaceful and it is a place to watch Sunset.

“A wonderful oasis on Westlake”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2011

This tea shop was a delightful surprise on a hot afternoon during our visit to Hanoi. The view over Westlake is superb and the owner has a real passion for tea and spent some time explaining the types of tea and how the varieties are processed. The homemade apple tart made by his wife was delicious.
