“Friendly & Fabulous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2011

The staff are fantastic...very friendly and very helpful - nothing is any bother to them, we asked for a computer in our room and they had it installed and setup within 15 minutes! Rooms are modern and clean, breakfast was great and the hotel is ideally located...walk out the front door and shopping, restaurants and markets are right at your door step. Definately recommend staying here :)

Room Tip: Just ask - staff will help in anyway possible.

Great experience with team who would welcome you genuinely every time you walked through the door. Very attentive to your needs and thinking of your needs before you do. As an example we were given a take away breakfast on our last day as we checked out prior to breakfast starting, we received coffee when we arrived before check in time, we had a wake up call organized for our last morning as it was an early start. These may seem like small things but they were totally initiated by the team at the hotel without our knowledge. It is as if they put themselves in our shoes and provided little things that made the time in Hanoi every more fantastic. Can't speak highly enough of the team at the Hotel.

The thing that makes this hotel stand out is the staff. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the shower works (this is important after travelling for a while), the location is fantastic & easy to find but it is the staff that truly make this hotel stand out.
The staff are friendly, always remember your name, informative & helpful.
We stayed there twice, & the second time we were greeted as old frinds. Even though we arrived early (5am) we were given a room to shower in & sleep.
The only negative thing I could say is that the laundry costs are more than we paid anywhere else in Vietnam.

One of the top few hotels I've been too; room was simple and classy, equipped with a huge TV and even a DVD player, and a jacuzzi bathtub in the room too! And that's on top of the welcome food of bananas and bottled water.
There were computers with internet for free use in the lobby, which is very useful for travellers who decided not to pack their laptops with them (like me)

More importantly, the staff - especially the customer services manager (?) Dao (26 years old and with a really sparkling smile haha) - were eager to help and provide information in English for tourists like me who did not do enough research beforehand.

One pleasant surprise was the little wild bird that had ventured into the lobby and was hopping around above our heads :)

We stayed at this hotel booked by the tour agency on the last day of our trip to Vietnam. For its price, we were not expecting much, but the design of the room was awesome with matching embroidered patterns on curtains and consistent use of rosewood on its furniture. The bathroom had a jacuzzi and a rain shower, but the jacuzzi somehow smelled of rotten eggs. The bed and pillow were plush and extremely comfortable.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the service of Dao the customer services manager was especially memorable.

The buffet breakfast could be improved as some dishes were emptied when we came down for breakfast.

we stayed here twice. the first time we were on the 4th floor and everything was perfect very clean quiet room. On our 2nd stay we were on the 2nd floor just above the kitchen and although the room itself was excellent at first light it was very nosiy with banging of pots and pans and lots of people talking as they prepared breakfast.
Make sure that you get a room on a higher floor. The buffet breakfast itself was excellent with a great variety of choice.

Room Tip: book a room above the 2nd floor
