“Central, great rooms and a bit loud”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2012

This hotel is very central in the old quarter. It's a little noisy if you get the front rooms but very quiet in te back.

They do a breakfast and wifi included. The rooms are big and the showers are awesome. We enjoyed it here, it's great for the price you pay!!! Agoda was the best place to book!!!

This is a small, centrally located hotel. The rooms was clean, simply furnished with an excellent bathroom. The breakfast was very good. The staff were particularly friendly.

smack bang in the middle of the old district. this place is a diamond in the rough when you compare the prices of similar rooms close by. around 20$ gets you a lovey room flat screen tv, A/C & breakfast if your a good haggler. rooms we checked close by ddnt even come close to the standard of this hotel.

Very helpful staff, not too pushy on tours. good sized rooms. I paid for a deluxe which I expected to have an outside window but it didn't. Was not a problem to be honest although facing onto the internal stairway meant a few early wake-up calls as other discourteous guests left early (5-6am) and insisted on shouting at each other. Breakfast was good. I wanted to stay a few extra days but they didn't have room so moved me to their sister hotel, Grand Hotel Hanoi. This was excellent, a little more pricey but way way better in terms of facilities.

We stayed at this hotel back in June, for 2 nights.
It is tucked away on Hang Quat and the rooms were clean, well-decorated and spacious.
In particular the lasting memory from this hotel was the excellent customer service from the staff. The young lady on reception could not have been more helpful or welcoming.
We would definitely stay there again if ever in Hanoi again and encourage other travellers to seek it out.

We loved this little hotel. The location was great, staff were absolutely brilliant, helping us with ticket bookings etc. We had a brilliant room on the fifth floor with a balcony. Worth asking for a balcony room, as view is good and it's great for observing street life. Would stay again when we return to Hanoi. Hanoi itself is brilliant too, more 'asian' than Saigon, which is much more westernised.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2011

We had a tirple room here for five nights (package with escape travel). The staff were extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful. Our room was cramped because of the third bed (full bed, not fold out). The mattresses were comfortable and bedding good. The room has A/C, fan and TV..all in working order. The bathroom was large and modern. Our room had a false window to a skylighted passage. initially I was concerned about this, but it also meant the room was very quiet at night. The hotel in right in the old quarter (in religious artifacts street) which was great! Breakfast was limited and could be improved a lot (although staff serving meals were good).

Room Tip: The Gecko Cafe (100m down on right is great value for a meal).
