We are satisfy with the condition of the hotel and the services given by the staffs. The hotel is clean and the location is strategic where we can go shopping easily.
The staffs are friendly and given us a lot of help. I would like to thank Mr Vinh Le and Mdm Rosie for the program they arrange for us. It is worth with what we paid. Hope that they will do better and better in future. God Bless.

I must say it is dissapointing and very unpleasany treat by the hotel. The hotel is clean and convenient but the service by the managers sucks. i booked a 5day trip to hanoi n sapa and also one day to halong bay. due to the haiyan at philipines and also the alert to hit hanoi, the hotel inform us that the trip will have to be cancelled and we will have option to decide whr to go. And we decided one day tour and the hotel agreed to refund us the halong bay charges.when we came back from sapa, we were left waiting in the rain at hanoi train station for more than 30mins,they miss out to pick up us,when we reach hotel, we was told by rosie(the hotel manager) tat they could not refund us the halong bay trip and also they could not provide us a room to rest as promise during the booking. Thats was abt 7am hanoi time,we can understand abt the room arrangement bt the twisting of word for refunding is untolerable.as we inform her that we was alerted not to go halong bay and explain by Vinh Le(the other manager who assist us wt our tour) that we will have the refund, she yelled back at us that its was their hotel policy. Its not the USd$280 that make us upset,bt the dissapointed attitude tat make us feel like a fool. And at later part when i manage to go online and show her the agreement, she refund us the cost at half by expecting us not to knw the real cost, and now,we will have to show her the breakdown of the cost to take back our full refund. so my advise is,theres is other hotel at Old Quarter that provide better service, and forever remember to print out your agreement with the cost breakdown if u decide to stay this hotel.

This hotel is located in the Old Quarter. We booked a twin room with a window, I could not believe the size of the room when we moved in, it was very big and the price very low. Excellent buffet breakfast, excellent selection of food. The staff recommended some very good restaurants close by. They were very helpful and friendly. We were on the top floor, so the beeping of the car horns was not too bad. We had a fantastic shower in the bathroom, nozzles everywhere, we just used the overhead one which was good. If you wanted to quibble the room could do with some new paint in a couple of places, but considering the size and price of the room that would be unfair. The WiFi was pretty poor in the room. I went to the reception area a couple of times to send emails from my phone. Apart from that I that I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We stayed 4 nights in the Hotel Hanoi Legacy. The Hotel is very clean and the rooms are nice (except that they don't have real windows except the ones facing the street).
Even tough we booked the cheapest room we got an upgrade for the better ones. What we liked the most was the delicious breakfast. Really good!
Like most of the Hotels in Vietnam they also have a Tour Agency in the House which is sometimes a little bit annoying. They always ask: Where are you going? What are your plans? But beside of that there very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the street have a real window but are a bit noisy, the other ones don't have a...

We stayed at this hotel a total of 3 nights (on either side of a trip to Halong Bay). The reception area was under renovations from An Hung Hotel to Legacy Hotel. We booked a triple room with a deluxe city view. The first 2 nights we stayed in room 205. It was a triple room but not a genuine triple room because they just added an extra foldaway bed so there was hardly any room to for our 3 luggages. There was no city view at all. Only a small window which faced a dark covered hole between the buildings. On our return (last night), we stayed in room 804 which is actually in the same space above room 205 so again there was no city view. Room 804 was slightly bigger and a true triple room. It was more comfortabe here. Service was not great. They couldn't provide us with an extra pillow because they didn't have any extras. Also, there were holes in our bathroom towels. Breakfast was great and in room wifi was strong. The best thing about this hotel is its central location in the old quarter. There is also a very good spa just a couple of doors down.

My wife and I had a fantastic double stay at Legacy (formerly Ahn Hung) in early October. The staff here are just the best people you could possibly meet while travelling. In particular we wish to thank the Manageress Annie for the wonderful experience she gave us when we travelled together with her friends and spent the day with some of her family. Truly a fabulous time we will never forget.
This hotel is right in the midst of everything in the Old Quarter, with shopping, good food and major attractions within easy walking distance. Breakfast was a fabulous buffet each day with nice fresh food. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.
We stayed in Rooms 601 and 701 which have big windows and 701 has a huge bed and good sized balcony.
Staff very kindly took care of our big bags for almost a week while we visited Sa Pa and Halong Bay.

We stayed twice in one week (on either side of a trip to Halong Bay). Two different rooms, both larger than average size, one with a huge bed and the other with a large bathroom equipped with jacuzzi and multi jet shower. Staff were extra helpful and friendly, offering to store our luggage when we were away and pack us an early breakfast. Great value for money. Minutes away from bars and restaurants and a few doors from a spa offering 70 min massages for 10AUD.

Room Tip: 205 at the back of the hotel had no street noise but only a window looking out onto a wall. 501 at f...
