Super clean hotel, nice rooms, and the staff should get 10 stars. Incredibly friendly and helpful.

This hotel is very nice, clean and well-run, The staff were very friendly. The rooms are small (we had a standard room). The breakfast was not great though.

The best part about the hotel is the location across from the opera and metropole hotel.

The management and staff are five star without a doubt. The price is great, especially for this very clean hotel in a top location, but you will have to compromise on a few things. The windows are not well insulated for sound - it's ok after 10 but hard to take a daytime nap. That was an issue for us as we had just arrived and with adjusting to the time change the first few days we really wanted naps. There are a few rooms not facing the street that might be better. The mattresses seemed to dip in the center - I hope the hotel will take note and get some new and firmer mattresses. It's time. The rooms are small - even a deluxe is small. We looked at a "suite" but that didn't seem to add any functional space. However, the room is so well designed that there really is a place for all of your possessions. Breakfast was adequate and you should allow an extra 10 minutes for it in the morning, as the kitchen staff sometimes gets behind when there are a lot of people. I do want to emphasize however, that the hotel staff are really wonderful and if you can compromise on the other issues, you'll have a wonderful stay.

Located in the heart of the city, the conifer hotel is a stone's throw away from the Opera House and beside the Metropole Hotel.

The room was clean and very tastefully furnished. Only wished that it could have been more spacious.

Free wifi at the lobby was a boost, and neighbouring restaurants were of good standards.

The hotel is located close to the opera and almost next to the Metropole hotel in Hanoi. It makes it a good value stay for a city trip to Hanoi. Service is nice, breakfast could be a bit more creative and the description 'boutique' should be taken to serious

What a lovely hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly, position was great and quiet, away from busy roads. A great walk to the old quarter. My room was very spacious and clean also. Highly recommend this one!

We loved this hotel!
The only warning I could give is for super tall people. Room ceilings are high, but shower is part of raised tub & suite room has rain shower that is a bit low for tall folks. That said, everything else was perfect!

Staff very accommodating, rooms spacious for price, Location was right near opera house, walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake & across from the Metropole for fancy cocktails.

We recommend this one!

One other warning about Hanoi. There is a bit more pollution than Saigon or Hue, for those sensitive to smog.
