“Wonderful vacations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2010

The hotel is well situated. It is very close to a shopping area and the various street markets.
We stayed in the hotel for 6 days and the service was great all the time. The staff spoke English and was willing to help us on all of our demands. Rooms were clean and of acceptable size. I would recomend it to my friends or family.

We stayed 4 nights at the Zen hotel, after having stayed there 3 nights last summer. We found the 7th floor rooms extremely comfortable, clean, and the king sized beds with toppers are awesome. The hotel is in a great location and the staff makes it all worth it - they are all wonderful, friendly, helpful and accommodating. They gave us great directions to places and recommendations. We truly enjoyed being there. I found the morning coffee way too strong and bitter, but I see others have liked it, so it's a matter of taste. Free internet service in the rooms was convenient and easy to access. I am very fussy about hotels and generally do not like them, but I was very comfortable staying at Zen Hotel.

My sister and I stayed at your hotel 1/30/07 - 2/4/07 for our first visit to Hanoi. Our stay was delightful, our room beautiful and the staff most courteous and most helpful. We loved the location and we will certainly plan to stay there again when we return to Hanoi. Thank you for helping us have a wonderful vacation in your fascinating city. Martin Lee

My niece and I had a wonderful experience at your hotel - all of the staff were exceedingly helpful, friendly and professional. My niece particularly enjoyed the surprise that was sent to our room - she had just turned 21 (this was her birthday trip!) and was very excited. I will certainly talk your hotel up - it was very charming and the location was fine. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

The Zen Hotel, is our "home away from home". We would never think of staying at any other hotel in Hanoi. The Zen Hotel, is so centrally located, best place to stay. We have advocated to international people to stay at the Hanoi, and they have taken our advice and been very happy with the accommodation.

We stayed at the Zen Hotel for 3 nights and still didn't want to leave. The staff were always looking out for us, giving us great service and making sure that we were enjoying our stay there, and even helped us with our departure. I thoroughly appreciated the help all the staff gave us. The Zen Hotel has even more benefits. We were able to save on paying for taxis, even the Xic lo most of the time as it is within walking distance to many attractions (and don't worry about the walking distance, I am not all that fit and really enjoyed the walks). Plenty of maps and tourist destinations were offered by the hotel staff as well.

Within walking distance of the major attractions - the Old City, the French Quarter, the government center, the Ho Chi Mausoleum and Museum, Hoan Kiem Lake.

Staff is extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Rooms are clean. I stayed in two different rooms - both spaceous. One room faced the street. It was a bit noisy due to motor bikes traffic and horns but I found you quickly get used to it. The other room was quiet.

No restaurant but they served a Vietnamese breakfast in the lobby.

They were able to organise a trip to Halong Bay which went off without problems.

Crossing the street in Hanoi requires a bit of nerve. Get one of the staff to show you how it's done.
