My wife and I went for honeymoon on april, we are 30's year old.
This hotel is perfect location, quite, very nice and beautiful.
This is a very great place to stay to line down and enjoy all the facilities.

Restaurant is amazing.
Service is a bit less than you expect in a 5 stars hotel.

Excellent hotel in down town Hanoi (Hoan Kiem District), modern, classic, stylish, elegant and warm. The attention from all the staff, starts at the front door.
Details is the right word for this hotel: the flowers beauty and the perfume when you get in, the attention on the front desk, the restaurant table ware, the room cleaning people…..
“An island in the Hanoi chaos”.
The room, with a fruit basket as a welcome gift, when we arrived, is well design, modern, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom perfect, the right size, the shower superb, a water fall from the top, and the cleaning lady washed it everyday we shower.
Breakfast is very good, a nice combination of east and west. Excellent pastries, juices, fruits, omelets and waffles and an exceptional noodles soup and fried rice.
Hanoi is very dusty and what we noticed on the hotel is that the management keeps it outside.
Another pro of this hotel is that it is on a walking distance from Hoan Kien Lake and the Old Quarter. Enjoy it.

I stayed there for 7 nights on my recent business trip to HN in Feb 09. The staff were very friendly & professional. In the restaurant they even remembered my preference for breakfast. At the end of my stay I felt as if I had known everyone, from the GM to the doormen. The room & lobby decor is aesthetically pleasing, when I was there the lobby area was being filmed for some style/fashion magazine. Cool! It would be better if they have a swimming pool, but then one can't have everything...

The room is newly renovated, stylish & very clean. The captain Mr Kiefer is certainly running a tight ship. I hope the hotel will stay this way. Great value for money. Highly recommended. I've stayed at many hotels in both HN & HCM city, and this one is certainly my favourite.

Stayed there end of February and was amazed, not only by the great rooms and overall quality of the hotel but even more by the very attentive service I experienced. This hotel was not known prior to becoming a movenpick Hotel but after the change of management,- what a bast improvement. I was staying there on a previous trip a couple of years back and while the physical changes are already impressive, the management has put lots of efforts in enhancing services as well. ... Great value and certainly my favorite hotel in Hanoi now, well done!
