“Other option for Vietnam Cruisine”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

Foods are good but the services are not good bcs Ngon Restaurant is too clowded and when you come you have to queue for long time and time for eating is have to rust... Reason places are narrow and so clowded.... the staffs look at you when you are eating...

So I think should change to Quan Ngon restaurant at 26B Tran Hung Dao Street, places are nice and foods are nearly the same of Quan An Ngon (I heard that The boss of this restaurant is brother or manager of Quan An ngon - 18 Phan Boi Chau). Services are much better and if they are full they will tell you it is not available for you...

“Good food and reasonable price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

We just had a dinner off the package and got highly recommendation from the staff in a beautiful and lovely Thaison Palace Hotel during the time we stayed there in Hanoi, Vietnam. Quan an Ngon must be the best restaurant in Hanoi for food+ staff + prices. The food is really good and at good price too, especially Spring Rolls, Pho Cuon and " Banh Seo"... Much different from a luxury restaurants in Asia but here must be the typical of Vietnamese style and we really enjoyed it.

“Wish I could eat there everyday!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

Great place! Street food brought to a restaurant setting so you can have a comfortable dining experience! The food here was amazing. We ordered a lot of dishes - names that I can't for the life of me remember - and loved each and every one. The Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk was also divine. We loved it so much here that we came again the next day! Prices are reasonable.

One complaint i have is the service..I don't expect first class service, but I do think friendliness should be a given for any restaurant. The hostess was quite rude and tried to make us share a table with another couple when there were over 15 tables available. It was after our continual insistence that they finally seated us at a relatively less crowded table..

Overall, don't miss out on this restaurant and definitely try it at least once if you're around old quarter's.

“Great food for less money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

Quan An also have a restaurant in HCMC. Both offer great food for relatively cheap prices. Nevertheless, the service quality is not always the best. Always ask the waiter to repeat your order and the number of items, otherwise it may happen that you only get 1 instead of 2 coffees. Also, most of the staff does not speak a good English.

Dear guest,
Thanks for sharing. We are happy for your compliments about the food. But As for service, We’re still trying to train our staff to gain more communication skill in English. In addition, to help our customers previewing the dishes, we will make picture menu. We always improve our service & your feedback is very helpful for us to do us .
We look forward to welcoming you back to Quán Ăn Ngon
Best regards.

“Hawkers style street food brought to stylish restaurant”

The best decor and food to reflect the best of traditional North Vietnamese culture.
Love the wide choices of noodles and best Banh Xeo we ever had.
