“9 course lunch!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

Went here with Buffalo tours as part of our trip. Just round the corner from the Hanoi Hilton (War prison museum now being renovated).
Dined in the garden of French colonial style building with attentive and business like staff. Most of the diners at lunch appeared to be businessmen or guests on tours like us.
Food varied and plentiful and we had to taste each course otherwise we wouldn't have got through the courses. As it was we only managed 6 courses with the help of our guide who we were pleased joined us.
If you can get this on your itinerary it is worth it!

“Relaxing atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

This restaurant was part of the Night Tour that we booked with Buffalo Tours through our hotel. Was a lovely place to finish the tour. The menu was set and provided you with a sample of many different dishes, some we had never tried before so it was a bit of a culinary adventure. All was delicious and throughly enjoyed. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very relaxing. An enjoyable meal.

“Vietnamese cuisine at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

Set in an old French colonial style building, this restaurant served up a delicious eight course meal for lunch accompanied by a full bodied Vietnamese red wine. The staff were precise, friendly and explained each dish while serving them. The sticky white rice and the grilled chicken was unbelievable. The sauces, toppings and other side dishes were just perfect. Quite a feast for the senses. We were not surprised to see the photograph of the staff with Prime Minister Vajpayee of India. A Must Do while in Hanoi.

“Business Lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

We dined at this charming restaurant this week and I was totally taken by surprise with this delightful place. The staff were very attentive and they met our every need. There was a sufficient time lapse between meals which showed good training which so often comes short in Hanoi. One of the many dishes we tried was a salmon dish which seemed to be everyone's favorite. It was a portion of salmon smothered in a glorious sauce served with fresh bread - it was clearly a very well prepared dish and I will certainly return to re order that dish. We unanimously decided to try their other restaurant which is called Indochina and will report back soon.
