We had lunch here recently on our last day in Hanoi and Vietnam. The restaurant looked attractive so we thought we'd give it a go and we went for the special set lunch menu.
The starter, carrot soup, was very nice however, the main dish of stuffed courgette was an abomination. The courgette stuffing was a layer of pork mince mixture that had the texture and flavour of cardboard. The accompanying limp and greasy French fries had been overcooked in unpleasant tasting oil (fried at too low a temperature). We could not eat these despite being hungry. There was a feeble bit of salad on the plate - a lettuce leaf and a few halves of baby tomatoes - or maybe this was a garnish. I would have been embarrassed to serve this up.
Unfortunately, like many places in Hanoi, this was a smoking bar/ restaurant, although the only person smoking inside was a European guy at the bar who looked as if he was in charge of the place. It's not very nice when people are eating. (Notably a Vietnamese guy on another table went outside to smoke.)
The service was adequate, shame about the food.
