“Top of city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

This place is a must-go in Dalat. It's a little far from downtown but don't worry, it's easy to reach here by yourself. You can catch a bus from bus station (5 mins walking from Dalat market) or rent motorbike, scooter. It will take about 45 mins by bus (because it pauses a lot) or 20 mins by scooter.
If you like walking, just do it along the road (approximately 2-3 hrs to reach the top). If you like trekking, there is a track (but be careful in rainy season). If you want to save time, you can hire a jeep (reach destination in 30 mins). My friend and I went up by jeep, but trekked down. It was fun.
At the top, you can try BBQ food with a reasonable price. Or you can just go sightseeing.
Besides, there is a spring if you choose to go down (you should go with an inhabitant who knows the way).

“memorable trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

I had a great experience and fantastic trip to climb on Langbian Mountain. The air was fresh and the weather was nice and chilly. It was an ideal place for me to enjoy the amazing feeling when I climbed to the top of this mountain. The most important thing was to bring a guide instruction along with you when climb on Langbiang mountain. It took me and my friends about 2 hours to hike on the top of mountain. We had a memorable day to enjoy the trip in Dalat city. The fee is rather cheap and acceptable. Langbiang mountain would be a good place for picnic or tours. I will go here again once I have time to visit Dalat again.

“Great place for enjoying yourself, hiking and stuff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

First time I came here, it was alot more natural and very hard to climb it all, there are mug, creatures that suck your blood and no guiding, easy to get lost.

But it more easy now. Mean more time for us to enjoy ourself.

The bad thing is that they charge the fee 2 time. First at the gate, second at the way to the highest mountain. Sorry, but I usually sneak to the street next right to the gate, it's more interesting because it is the natural road, no road and it's free. I only pay the fee to entrance the highest mountain because I think people have spent things to upgrade it. And you know what? I believe that we don't have to pay the fee that people don't do anything for nature

“Hiking the highest mountain in southern VN and enjoy it!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

Lang Bian Mountain is approximately 15 km from Dalat center. It is a very interesting mountain not only the highest but also with many legends about it. Funnier, here, you will see a lot of horses painted like zebras! It will takes you 30' to go by jeep to the mount and about 2 hours by hiking. But beleive in me, it is absolutely worth hiking this mountain with friends. You will have a chance to trek in the pine forests, and then hike in very dangerous and sloping rocks. However, the feeling when you reach the mount is freakingly awesome!!! You can even see all the city and the sea! I advise you to bring food, drink and fruit to have a picnic while hiking and visit it in sunny season, ot not you will not be able to see anything because of the clouds and fogs in the rainy season :). Discover yourself!

“An extremely rewarding view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

I climbed the mountain with a guide, and it was challenging to say the least, and those looking for light/medium trekking should steer clear, but those who want to climb through the jungle mud really should go for this one.

I would advise walking boots however...
