“Beautiful garden, quiet.Mr Rot orgnized our BEST tour since being away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2010

we were sad to leave this pinkhouse and keep moving,we wish we had more time here in this friendly family run hotel,we were warm welcomed when we first came, this family were so nice and so helpful to us.
our best experience here was the motorbike tour with Mr Rot(adopted son of the owner)he speak excellent english and even the hill tribe language,my self and my friends have been travelling throught S E Asia for nearly four months and by far, this has been the best trip we've ever done,we experienced things that we would never have seen if we'd gone with anyone else.it was a very intimate trip and i dont want to give too much away by giving lots of details.the one thing i will say is that this is a MUST DO trip.

Only ten minutes away from the centre of Dalat, this is a charming hotel. The staff speak perfect English and are extremely friendly and accommodating. Being away from the centre of Dalat, peace and quiet ensues in the hotel, which is encircled by a tranquil garden. This is not to say, however, that this is not a place to meet people. All guests seemed welcome to conversation and the garden serves as the perfect setting. The hotel also offers an in-house motorbike tour of the central highlands. This activity takes you around the unbeaten track of the area. Run by a hotel employee called Rot (there is an accent in there somewhere) you get the chance to sample local markets and waterfalls. Rot himself is from a nearby village and he takes the group to his family home for a comforting lunch. He also takes groups to meet local hill tribes and informs of the deeply interesting matriarchal nature of their existence; indeed, he gives the group an incredible amount of information about everything. Finally, the last leg of the tour is a drive through swerving highland roads that is nothing but epic.

We loved staying at the Villa Pink House. It was an extremely welcoming atmosphere with great customer service. After a little mishap with our reservation, the Villa Pink put us in a bigger room and treated the situation with the customer service that can sometimes be rare in Southeast Asia. They were very helpful with bookings and questions.
The reviews about Rot are all true. He is an awesome tour guide. Very informative and honest and shows you a part of Vietnam that would be hard to find on your own. In addition to learning a lot, we laughed a lot. And, afterwards, Rot took us out for dinner and a night on the town. It wasn't included in the tour, but he was willing to do it that night.
We HIGHLY recommend both the hotel and the tour.

The first night we arrived they were full, so we came back the next morning and checked in. The room was clean and had a great view and overall it was comfortable. The problem I have with this place and many other hotels and guesthouses is that they say they have wifi...which for the most part only works on the first floor. I was on the second floor and I didn't get the connection in my room. When I told them this i got only shrugged shoulders. The next morning we went down for breakfast....we arrived at 8:55 and the staff said it was too late...breakfast was over. (The sign said 6:30-9). I can't remember the name of the hotel...but it was on the side of the pink villas--we stayed there the night prior and had a great stay...for only $10 we got a HUGE room.

I would have no problems recommending this hotel. Its very clean and the rooms are very large. The staff in this hotel are very helpful and pleasant and ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible.

The staff arrange tours that are off the beaten track if you wish to experience something a little different.

Rot, the manager, was so helpful and takes a great interest in making sure you enjoy yourself.

We actually stayed longer that we should have as we were so relaxed here.

Two thumbs up for this place!

I had a brilliant stay at the Pink House for 2 days but wished it was longer. The staff are unbelieveably friendly and helpful, especially Rot who is as twinkly as Christmas lights and an absolute legend! The rooms were large, clean and really pleasant and the small balcony was a plus! The hotel itself is central for everything. I highly recommend this place and the bike tour with Rot was one of the highlights of my 4 weeks in Vietnam. An absolute must do for anyone wishing to have a taste of the 'real' Vietnam.

We joined some fellow travellers who had booked at the Pink Hotel to walk from the bus station and found a serene paradise overlooking the mountains. Our welcome by the staff Rot, Loc, Nam and the women was so warm and caring we felt instantly at home. Rot offered us a tour while $10 more than others were offering was worth EVERY dollar. We travelled through the countryside to Rot's home village and learnt more about Vietnamese culture, history and daily life than anywhere else in Vietnam. At no time during our 5 day stay did the attention of the staff wane. Their pride in their work and looking after guests eveyneed was exceptional. We are very sad to leave our new friends.
