“Room is ok, but not very good service.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

I statyed here in March 2013.
Room is large enough with 2 king beds at a reasonable price.
Location is ok, 50 meters away from the lake.
The reception person charged my credit card without any notice, while I planned to pay by cash! And the hotel staff's English is very poor, hard to communicate with.
Breakfast is not very good.

Room Tip: Remember to choose a room not far from wireless router to ensure you have WIFI signal. Never choose...

The hotel was in a very good location and an easy walk to the lake and market and some nice streets for shopping. There was no air conditioning and to be honest you don't need it - we were told by our guide that none of the hotels in Dalat have air conditioning. Maybe a ceiling fan would be nice at times. The staff were helpful and spoke a little English. The rooms were roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of selection.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the road were not too noisy.

Comfort hotel in the center of the city. Location is great, room eqipment is also very charming.
The only minus is noise when window is open in the back side room. There are also some mosqitos in the room at night. No air-conditioner in the room.

We were switched to this hotel after being overbooked.

It turned out to be a good alternative and great location.

The hotel room was fantastic. The staff seemed helpful enough. But this hotel really doesn't cater well for western tourists. The staff spoke some English but not enough.
A lot of tour groups from China use this hotel for three or four days, so there's a constant turnover of people. Because there's no air con in the rooms, you find these groups open their rooms to let in air, then start having a full scale, loud conversation with their neighbours across the corridor. It would seem the Chinese tourist are oblivious to anyone else staying in the hotel. And the hotel are not very good at dealing with these situation when we complained about the loud conversations after midnight!
It's a shame as the hotel has great potential...

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room away from the tour groups from China!

This hotel is well located and can have better potentials, on the positive side, nice building with french architectural touches, ie: the very elegant spiral staircase leading up to the restaurant. The centre of Dalat is within walking distances. The rooms were a bit old, with no aircon (luckily at 1500m above sea level, we did not need it). Internet was awfully slow at the kiosks. Maintenance in the rooms seems to be unplanned, even at 10pm we heard hammering etc above our room. When questioned, reception advised that they were getting ready for the upcoming peak season...
Front door and windows on ground floor were always open so the scooter noises with their constant horning, flowed straight into the lobby, which only becomes bearable after a couple days.

We stayed here 2 nights and thought the hotel was in a good location. Clean room. Nice view from room. Only downside was there was no air con so had to leave window open at night and mosquitos went to town on us. Was cool weather though. Breakfast was good.

This hotel has the potential to be excellent in many ways, yet the attention to detail is lacking. Staff and service is excellent, but let down by poor cleaning in the restaurant and the rooms.
The restaurant decor is outdated, yet the food is good. However I ordered a Vietnamese fish dish when I arrived and enjoyed it so much I ordered it again and had a very different western dish. The views from the restaurant must be amongst the best in Dalat
Consistency in all aspects of customer experience will make this a very good hotel
