“Big rooms - worn bathroom”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

Very cold at night, but ok rooms afterall. The bathroom was smelly. In total, quite boring, but not bad at all. Much space!

You can easily walk to the city center.

Nice public area upstairs, and breakfast (included) totally ok.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights - we didn't book in advance when we got to DaLat but thought we were going to stay in the main area. We got dropped off here by the bus company and they explained that the dorm was $5 per person and private rooms were $6 ($7 including breakfast)

We looked at the rooms - very spacious, decent view of Da Lat mountains and only 10-15 minute walk into the main area.

Quiet rooms, fridge/kettle available. The windows are thin and tend to rattle when there's a lot of wind (be sure to lock them at night).

The breakfast provided includes a choice of butter or jam or omelette with a baguette.

Worth the value of money, the only thing I was concerned with is check out is 10am and we were not aware. They also try to sell you a lot when you first arrive. Be careful.

I am normally wary of hotels at the bus stop (when I arrived from Mui Ne) bt when I looked at the room it was nice... large with a pretty view, comfortable bed and fridge, and for only $8 a night including a good breakfast of eggs and a hot drink. The walls are occasionally a bit thin and the hot water pump hammers through the wall when people use the showers (and the water pressure has its moments), but they get five stars from me because they actually were willing to turn off the noisy pump at night time so I could sleep well (which I did!). You can't expect more than that! (I looked at another hotel nearby and their hot water had the same issue but they weren't able to turn off the pump at night, so I stayed where I was. Dalat is cooler than other parts of Vietnam so hot water becomes a factor here, and there is no need for fans or air-con). Also for one day I had brilliant wifi, then it was poor after that, but there are computers in the lobby which work well if you need them. One night the staff member who didn't speak much English and I, used the lobby computers with Google Translator to communicate, so I appreciate their efforts! Most of the staff speak English well and the motorbike tour people next door are a great help as well. My room was cleaned daily as well. Overall I had an excellent and very comfortable stay.

Room Tip: I had room on the second floor which I enjoyed.

Good hotel with good people. We stayed here for two nights rooms are clean shower was fine for us (also powerful) the guys helped us out a lot with different trips we wanted to do and Tri (one of the lovely guys that works here) went out of his way for a private cooking class for 6 of us, we went to the market with him and with the money spare we had beers with him and the other guys that worked there.

We also did a 3 day easy riders tour with them from dalat to nah trang, we had the best time. There English is great and they gave us so much information about the country that museums don't tell you. When I came back to Vietnam I will be going back here.

We went to the Binh Yen hotel for 4 nights. It was very good, the price for one night with the breakfast is cheap. The staff was here for us 24H/24 when we needed them and was very helpful
The rooms are cleans and it's a very good deal.
Also, the hotel has its own easytour guide. Guides speak English very well and also french. They make us discover the culture of Vietnam very well and also their family.
Thanks to all to team which made us have a very good trip
We recommend you this hotel

My partner and I arrived at the guest house soaked to the core from having ridden our motorbike from Nha Thrang and getting caught in the rain. The staff were so helpful and helped us unpack our bike and help carry our bags to the room. The room was €12 and included breakfast, two double beds, fridge, tv and on-suite. We were freezing from the ride so were desperate for a hot shower and we weren't disappointed. The only negative we had was that the water pressure wasn't that great so it did take a little longer to shower; this is something that the Manager (Tre)is aware of and he is trying to improve. We had a few problems with our bike so Tre insisted that he took us to a local mechanic the following day to get it fixed at Vietnamese prices & that he did. That evening all the staff invited us to join them for rice wine and a sing along on the guitar and one of the guys had even made us mashed potato as it is a welsh favourite, to make us feel at home. We really enjoyed our stay and we have been recommending it to other travellers we meet along our journey. Great value for money and the most friendly people we've met so far.
